L'Ora della Pasta In Como

08/09/2023: We asked our server at Il Grifo (a restaurant we highly recommend) what his favorite restaurant (other than Il Grifo) was, and he told us about this place. Il Chris is a couple of blocks inland and appears to be a favorite of the locals. We were there for a midday meal, and enjoyed it quite a bit. The menu focuses on pizza, but is extensive, covering 24 pages. As I recall, there were three pages of pizzas. The menus appeared to be in Italian only. When we were there, the credit card machine was broken and we paid with cash. The prices were a bit better than most of the other places we went. Il Chris appeared to be set up for live music or a DJ in the evening. One excellent sign - several older gentlemen dining on their own, clearly regulars.

26/08/2023: A Place we love to return. An open minded and friendly Atmosphere. The Food is excellent and tasty. Especially the Owner has always time for a chat. The only minus is the fact,they don't bring a Menuelist to your table but insead of an iPad. The whole live is full of Electronics so why we should continue with those Gadgets in a Restaurant? That's why we give not 5 Points.
