LOLLA gelato In Viterbo

Excellent, 100% artisanal gelato. This, in my opinion, isn't synonymous with goodness. Alas, I've often eaten artisanal products, but with questionable results, to say the least. Well, that's not the case here. Here, you can see the passion and expertise of the people who run this gelato shop. No product is mediocre, and the treats like the hazelnut and extra virgin olive oil are truly intriguing. The lady who served us was incredibly kind and professional. Congratulations! Now I understand Gambero Rosso's inclusion among the 100 best gelato shops in Italy, and all the awards and accolades it's received. See you soon... especially since I have to return the takeaway popsicle...

What can I say? I've been there two nights in a row. If you want to eat an amazing granita and an out of the ordinary ice cream, you have to stop by Lolla. A truly obsessive attention to the ingredients makes the ice cream a real experience.

I'm sorry to express a less than positive opinion, but REAL ICE CREAM is something else.

Exceptional gelato! We tried several flavors, including milk chocolate, bruscolino, pistachio, blackberry, and fig, and each one was better than the last! The fruit flavors, in particular, were superb, with a high percentage of fresh, seasonal fruit (as we were told): it felt like freshly picked fruit. The bruscolino (made with toasted pumpkin seeds) was also excellent and very unique. It was a wonderful discovery, we'll be back and definitely recommend it!

I think it's the only truly good ice cream shop in Viterbo with real ice cream and quality ingredients.
