Christmas lunch 2025: decent food, slightly overcooked wine, and a very hard lemon shortcrust pastry dessert, unsuitable for the occasion. Price €55 excluding drinks. Good service.

The atmosphere is pleasant, with a fairly basic table setting. The food is excellent and expertly prepared. The welcome, however, was extremely cold, as was the case when paying for dinner. The service was too rushed, with little attention to the customer, perhaps because there were only a few people in attendance compared to the number of customers present.

A beautiful place in the Mantua countryside. The food is simple but excellent and of good quality because everything is homemade. The cured meats and braised meat are delicious.

The tartare was excellent, almost making you want more! The tortelli were also delicious (I had them with the stew), a glass of their sparkling wine, a shared cheesecake (here, the pastry chef who accompanied me suggested a little more lemon on the berries), but truly everything was perfect! The location was charming upon arrival and the welcome inside was truly top-notch, making you feel immediately at ease. The bathroom was clean, which isn't always a given. Prices were slightly lower than the agriturismi in the area. Would I go back? Of course!

01/06/2025: Be warned, this place could be addictive (!). A traditional place that respects all the basic principles, excellent raw materials, friendly and helpful staff, and a "homey" atmosphere. Congratulations 🏆👏👏👏
17/05/2025: We found this place by chance! We had tagliatelle with duck ragù, rigatoni with sausage ragù and veal rump, and cured meats. Everything was very good and tasty. The prices were fair, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend it.
