Found by chance during a trip to Genoa, I must say that it was an excellent choice. Very nice rustic place, friendly and efficient staff. We waited a little for the food but it was worth it. Sublime cheese focaccia and fantastic testaroli with pesto. I would definitely go there again if I were to return.

From a logistical point of view, the location is quite central, a stone's throw from Christopher Columbus' house, and the environment is very pleasant, with bricks and exposed beams creating a nice atmosphere; not very comfortable, although aesthetically pleasing, the tables (made from barrels), a little too high and with chairs that force a somewhat unnatural posture, at least for those, like me, who have a "significant" waistline.
We liked the typical local cuisine.
We ordered: homemade tagliatelle with pesto, just lacking in salt, well seasoned and al dente, tasty and generously stuffed focaccia di Recco, pansoti with walnut sauce and a good plate of brandacujun.
Homemade pasta and bread.
Courteous and quick service.
Adequate account.
The only complaint: the presence of dust deposits on the cables above the counter, at risk of falling onto the baked goods.

Dal punto di vista logistico, la posizione è abbastanza centrale, a due passi dalla casa di Cristoforo Colombo, e l’ambiente molto piacevole, con mattoni e travi a vista a creare una bella atmosfera; non molto comodi, seppur esteticamente piacevoli, i tavoli (ricavati da botti), un po’ troppo alti e con le sedie che costringono ad una postura un po’ innaturale, almeno per chi, come me, ha un giro vita “importante “.
La cucina, tipica locale, ci è piaciuta.
Abbiamo ordinato: tagliatelle fatte in casa al pesto, appena carenti di sale, ben condite e al dente, focaccia di Recco gustosa e generosamente farcita, pansoti con salsa di noci e un buon piatto di brandacujun.
Pasta e pane fatti in casa.
Servizio cortese e rapido.
Conto adeguato.
Unico appunto: la presenza di depositi di polvere sui cavi che sovrastano il bancone, a rischio caduta sulle preparazioni da forno.

Extraordinary Recco focaccia! Excellent value for money.
It is a totally original and traditional restaurant, the prices are incredible and if you want to try a good Italian pasta this is the place.

Very nice place for a simple lunch.
The focaccia (thin slice covered with runny cheese and for us procciuto) in their regional way from the area near Genoa is a real killer.
The pasta sauce, cooked to Italian perfection, is great.
The service is very pleasant, smiling and attentive. A real pleasure.
We can return there without fear, which we will not fail to do.

Exceptional, the pasta just cooked to perfection, the portofiono sauce is a great discovery and what can we say about the simple focaccia 😱, it's killer. Small restaurant with a warm, family atmosphere.

Cena aziendale, locale molto carino, soprattutto la stanza sotto.. focaccia al formaggio da URLO, si può andare e mangiare solo quella e si rimane soddisfatti... Primi buoni (i pansoti erano un po' insipidi ma capita) e secondi nella norma.... Consigliato...
