We arrived in Genoa on a work trip and stopped by this place completely by chance — actually about ten minutes before the official opening. A very kind young man with glasses at the bar smiled at us and said that even though they technically weren't open yet, we were welcome to come in, sit down, and choose our drinks. That small gesture already told us everything about the atmosphere here — warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. We absolutely loved this place: the cozy, home-style feeling, the wonderful selection of wines, and dishes that truly showcase the best of local cuisine. Everything is prepared with real attention and heart, and you can feel it in every bite. If you appreciate atmosphere, quality, and authentic flavors, this spot is perfect for you. I'm blown away by the quality of the fish and the courtesy of the staff. The intimate atmosphere touches your soul. I highly recommend stopping by for an authentic Genoese experience.

We spent a few days in Genoa, and while wandering through the old alleys, we were struck by the "Locanda Spinola." It's not a large place, but the outdoor seating is still usable on these beautiful days. We had the renowned cappon magro as an appetizer, and I must say it was truly excellent. The three first courses were different, but all had one thing in common: "truly excellent." The wine list was satisfactory, as was the service and the bill. We'll definitely return to try the other dishes. Recommended.

From the beginning to the end it was perfect. A sophisticated, yet authentic, Italian cuisine with some very delicate association of tastes. Do not hesitate !

Locanda Spinola is located in Genoa's alleys, near Via Garibaldi, one of the most beautiful streets in Genoa, especially at night. The food is typically Ligurian, almost entirely seafood-based, and excellent. The menu offers just the right number of dishes. A good wine list, especially Ligurian ones. Highly recommended for tourists and others.

I've been here several times and have always been pleased. Excellent dishes, from appetizers to desserts. The combinations are also a little different, fun, and delicious. The atmosphere is young and professional. We didn't take photos because we devoured everything 😅
