The first time I was enthusiastic but this time it was absurd.
I ask for advice on appetizers and the gentleman tells me that everything is written on the menu.
We ask for a bottle of sparkling water and we get a bottle with the sparkling water label while inside there was still water.
Their habit of opening bottles while placing them on the table...smacks of a flaw.
We were made to pay more for a bottle of coke than what was listed on the menu...their response was that the menu was wrong 🤦🏻♀️
Never again!!!!!!!!
The following day we had lunch in another famous restaurant in Taranto (approximately the same area) well! A whole different story...personal...welcome and honesty.

Good starter, except for the bresaola, which seemed to have been on that plate for days. The first courses seem to have been good (spaghetti with mussels and risotto). Fried food evidently made with frozen bags and thrown in oil (a shame for a restaurant in the old town of Taranto). Dessert: The things they had listed were missing. The obviously stressed and tired staff seemed to tell us that it would have been better if we had not gone there to disturb. Wine and water. All for three and then we shared it with 6. Well! 35 each...

Unfortunately the stars are 5 but, another star would be needed to rate this place.
Everything was really excellent, starting from the dishes and ending with the staff; they have a wide selection of wine and help you choose the right one for you. The dishes were special, we recommend the tuna steak and the sea bream fillet because they won us over.
We will definitely be back soon 😌

Exceptional food, very tasty and generous dishes. The service was also very good, attentive and friendly. The price corresponds to the quality of the food. There weren't many people and the place was good, but nothing out of this world. But I would repeat.

Restaurant immersed in old Taranto, very nice and welcoming place, dishes with attention to the smallest details, here the freshness of the fish reigns supreme. The very professional owner knows how to best advise you on what to eat. I will return to Rome with good memories of Taranto. Thank you.

Un posto molto accogliente, gestione familiare, personale molto gentile. Il cibo è molto buono. Anche i prezzi sono abbastanza buoni

Posto carino, buona cucina, ben arredato, cucina buona. Prezzi ormai allineati a molti ristoranti della zona. Un posto carino dove sicuro ci ritorno ma nella media degli altri ristoranti. Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più nel numero degli antipasti
