First of all, a beautiful location, outdoors, under a long portico. The menu is varied and of good quality. Prices, given the overall impression, are not particularly modest. A little more friendliness, perhaps a smile or two, from the owners and servers certainly wouldn't hurt.

Fantastic welcome - very genuine and we felt so lucky to have found it - a must for everyone. Food was outstanding and the local wine was very very morish! Rodolfo was such a please to chat with, he explained all of the food options, and told us his wife does the cooking - so he likes to stay front of house.
A real treat and as our last night in Italy, we couldn't have found better.
Definitely going to go back.

I was in this ancient tavern in Zibello for the first time and I was really satisfied with both the dishes and the service. The place is also really characteristic, under the arcades of Zibello. Absolutely recommended. Excellent value for money 👍 the culatello and let's not even talk about it, exceptional 👍 the giardiniera fantastic. Highly recommended 👍

Noi siamo stati nel ristorante più casual, non quello stellato, l’altro. Certo è che quando i due sono così vicino e fanno parte dello stesso gruppo è molto difficile che ci siano due tipologie di cucina. Io avevo preso uno dei menu in proposta con un piatto di salumi misto davvero eccezionale, servito unitamente alle specialità di verdura. Io ho continuato con dei tortelli all’erbette.

Il tutto accompagnato da una serie di vini, una presentazione da un simpatico salernitano.

Le village de Zibello est réputé pour fabriquer l'un des meilleurs produits de charcuterie d'Europe, le culatello. J'ai pu en déguster une assiette à la Locanda Leon d'Oro, restaurant établi dans une maison historique très bien entretenue.
En entrée, comme mentionné plus haut, une assiette de Culatello DOP, un délice qui a son prix. En plat une recette de canard mijoté avec des pommes de terre rissolées en accompagnement. Très belle carte de Spritz, celui à la violette est original et délicieux.
Au final, un bon rapport qualité prix, un excellent déjeuner, un service attentif et agréable, dans un lieu historique.
