I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. This is a real hidden gem. The chef and his beautiful wife are the perfect hosts. We stayed in Rosemary House Airbnb for 3 nights and we came back to this restaurant every single night of our stay! The food was impeccable. Delicious, homemade comfort food with some incredible flavours. I would happily order anything from the menu and know that it is going to taste amazing! We love to travel and, for over all qualtiy of food and service, this is not only the best restaurant we have been to in Italy, but possibly the best of anywhere we have travelled so far. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

This is an absolute gem of a find, fresh local produce lovingly made and served with the most warm welcome, we were in a local Air BnB (also incredible) for 3 nights and had dinner here 3 nights in a row which is incredibly rare for us. If you have an opotunity to eat here dont miss out.

Hospitality, kindness, excellent dishes (both Campanian and Tuscan), good house red wine in the Montecarlo (Lu) area and a fair price. Well done Gennaro Esposito 👏👏

The new management started with some more points. Good dishes, kindness and availability even for people intolerant to some foods. Just call and the owners will make it possible to dine in a characteristic place in the Tuscan hills with dishes suitable for us intolerant people and will make the other customers extremely satisfied with both Tuscan and Campania dishes.

15/08/2024: I went to this bar to have an aperitif. The cocktails are well made and the Ugone platter is also good. In my opinion, however, it is a little too expensive
14/08/2024: The setting is charming, the servers are very attentive and smiling. Plus, the cocktails are incredibly good. I advise you to go there if you are there. You are going to have a great time!!!

29/10/2024: What a great take away pizza place! Pizza was outstanding! We ordered prosciutto e funghi (twice) during our stay near Lucca and both pizzas were perfect...just what we love...not too much sauce, stretchy moz, flavorful prosciutto and the mushrooms gave the pizza a nice earthy taste. Crust was thin, not burned, but chewy. Excellent!! I would be there at 6pm to order when they opened and by 6:15-6:20pm we were back at our VRBO enjoying fresh, hot pizza! Fantastic! Very efficient. We can't find a pizza like that in California! Thank you so much. By the way, the owner is really nice and makes an effort to make sure the customer is happy! Very reasonably priced! Thank you again!!
28/10/2024: I've been using them for as long as I can remember, they practically raised me. In recent years they have improved the dough making it more delicate and digestible. If you love spicy food, you're in the perfect place. Large pizzas, difficult to stay hungry.
