Nice terrace for this restaurant a little set back from Lake Como.

Enjoyed my stay and dinner here, lovely staff and comfortable room, closeby a nice quiet swimming spot at the lake. Breakfast was amazing. The piano was also a great detail, sorry I couldn't end up playing for the girl that asked, I was stuck waiting for a boat in the afternoon :(

The place is very nice. I think August is a difficult time for everyone, so I'm temporarily reviewing it until I change my mind, which I think will happen during the off-season. The food was quite disappointing, the service was inattentive, and the price, from what I've just said, seemed high. Let me be clear, I'd spend double to eat well and feel a little more cared for, but today was a truly mediocre experience. Again, I'm sure it was the wrong day because the promise is good. Well, with a little more care—despite it being August and the tourists, who are very respectful in the area—it can only be better. Side note: parking. I found a sticker with a gratuitous and inappropriate insult plastered on my car (we live in an era when people take unexpected liberties), as well as a large ticket—I was afraid it was a fine, so no big deal. Now, I certainly don't take offense, having long known the benefits of practicing Zen teachings. However, I suggest that restaurant owners raise awareness among their neighbors about tolerance, especially in August—as we did with the service—or indicate where parking is allowed and prohibited, calmly and with decorum. The experience in that location was disappointing; I'll return only to change my mind about the restaurant, being careful not to park in the same spot where my dear neighbor parks 364 days a year. Today, however, I parked there like a good—and I quote the unnamed poet of the moment—idiot.

What a great restaurant! Very traditional, with local dishes that were definitely worth trying. If you can sit outside, do, it’s very beautiful to sit under the trees. Another good sign is that there were a lot of locals eating there. Terrific service.

Near the beach, at the edge of a very well-maintained old village, discover a shaded terrace. Tasting of an excellent lake trout with almonds and its small sautéed potatoes, very generous portion and cooked with care. Small Greek salad amuse bouche to wait. To recommend despite a somewhat slow and unfriendly service.

A very pleasant evening at Il Grifo. We dined on the shaded, flower-filled outdoor terrace. Very warm welcome, friendly and dynamic service. The food is truly excellent! This restaurant is recommended by the Osterie d'Italia guide.

Un bel pranzo festivo con la famiglia. Abbiamo pranzato all'aperto, in contesto tranquillo pur se non particolarmente suggestivo, ma confortevole ed accogliente. Essendo una locanda storica propone giustamente piatti della tradizione locale, ma il menù è sufficientemente ampio da poter essere apprezzato da tutti. Noi siamo rimasti sulla tradizione ed abbiamo apprezzato la qualità dei prodotti, la preparazione dei piatti e la presentazione, che cerca di coniugare la storia con l'attualità. Il risultato è molto buono. Altrettanto valida anche la carta dei vini, con attenzione al territorio ma non solo. Il servizio è efficiente, cortese e disponibile. I prezzi sono medio alti, ma temo che siano influenzati dalla zona, particolarmente turistica. Consigliato.

Не стал бы называть кухню изысканной. Наоборот, простые домашние вариации с местной рыбой в составе. Хорошее вежливое обслуживание, обычный чистый интерьер (главный зал без окон). Но вот сами блюда не впечатлили. Если когда-то буду ещё, возьму не рыбное.
