Birthday lunch with 20 people. Very welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, lovely owners. Definitely a place to recommend for a dinner or lunch with friends or family. Correct quality-price ratio.

Everything perfect, a real treat, really good.

I was on Saturday 2 March 24. The place is full of objects, some trinkets, some really fascinating. The food we ordered was delicious and the dishes well stocked. Unfortunately they don't use the menu card which is listed verbally. The price is not known. The Sicilian white wine that accompanies the appetizer and which was recommended to us did not consist of a glass as we thought but of the entire bottle. Tasting of the wine was excluded and the bottle was already open; I assume it was paid shortly before. The staff is very kind. The dishes that are presented on the internet do not correspond to what is there (for example the "Sora Lella Roman tripe" - The Fork). The table is well set, the environment with the fireplace at full flame is pleasant; very welcoming. The manager Giuseppe goes around the tables, sits down without asking permission and some comments, even joking, could be a little too much. However friendly, although not modest typical of the old-fashioned Sicilian (not always), he offered us a second small, very good house spirit. Two first courses and two second courses, the labeled bottle already open but of a pleasant although not excellent wine, a Sicilian cassata, a total of €115 with the discount as underlined by the good Giuseppe.

Just had dinner, after several years missing, for my partner's birthday in this splendid place where time has stopped. Years pass but always top Giuseppe seems like an affectionate father, the dishes are always extraordinary and the refined environment. We had dinner in this wonderful restaurant, a truly elegant, refined place with attention to the smallest details. The service was impeccable and unlike some negative reviews we really ate an amazing pizza with delicious and fresh ingredients, the staff were really kind and very polite and the owners convey all their passion for cooking..... ...Absolutely worth trying.....

Attualmente nel locale succede esattamente quello che si legge nelle altre recensioni: non esiste un menù alla carta perchè preparano in giornata specialità sempre diverse, con l'antipasto ti propongono un vino e ti arriva la bottiglia intera se accetti e il titolare gira per i tavoli per intrattenere i clienti con interessanti chiacchierate. E' tutto davvero diverso dai soliti ristoranti. Umanamente è molto bello, si esalta il contatto umano. Le specialità che preparano sono davvero buone, il pane che ti portano è una "droga", ma aspettatevi un conto mediamente alto a fine pasto.

Mirella é una cuoca strepitosa, Giuseppe un vero gentleman d'altri tempi portato all'accoglienza verso l'amata clientela. Ho festeggiato l'11° anniversario di matrimonio alla Locanda Garibaldi con mia moglie estasiata dalla cucina e dalle attenzioni dedicateci. Piatti di varie regioni italiane quali Sicilia, Abruzzo, Campania inebriante da uno splendido Grillo siciliano "I Versi". Arredo ed apparecchiatura senza alcuna sbavatura ed ottima musica di sottofondo in questo ambiente raffinato ed elegante ma con carattere e storia. Iperconsigliato.

Questa locanda è una vera perla: personale cordiale, caloroso, pronto a fornire storie e spiegazioni (e non solo del cibo); ogni pietanza era estremamente buona. Atmosfera romantica, elegante e quasi antica, calda; adatto anche a bambini (noi ci siamo recati con nostra figlia di meno di un anno, ed ha mangiato in locanda). Più che un ristorante una vera esperienza, e ci torneremo il prima possibile.
