Pasta is sadly flavorless and very watery / not seasoned. tortelli was OK. the porcini was fresh at least. but i'm very puzzled why this place has such good reviews when the food is this bland

A peaceful place to enjoy Tuscany in Gimignano. 100% recommended. Delicious wines and food. Excellent service 💕

We were very satisfied; the service was excellent and the pizza was delicious! They also offer gluten-free pizza, unfortunately it's made with pre-made dough, but it was still perfectly fine.

Beautiful, secluded spot Service was so-so; the gentleman was alone and clearly busy, but friendly could be better. I agree with the previous reviewers about the food: the pizza was more like a tarte flambée and the taste was okay. The salad was perhaps a bit small and served in an unattractive bowl. I can't complain about the price; I've seen worse in this place.

Really delicious, being a big pasta fan, I think it was among the best I've ever had the chance to taste! The tiramisu and coffee were excellent too!

Nous sommes d abord arrivés par la petite rue derrière Nous avons vu des cuisiniers s affairer à préparer des pizzas Ça sentait bon Sur une place tranquille, nous avons découvert une terrasse colorée puis un intérieur décoré de façon originale tout aussi coloré Le repas qui a suivi ne nous a pas déçus

04/09/2025: Recommended by locals, I had a really good meal at this restaurant. The menu features the right selection of traditional Sienese dishes. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The Picio is really well-made. The portions are just right, not too large. The price for a glass of wine, water, cover charge, Picio all'aglione, a fried vegetable, and the meal is €29. Very fair these days. Thanks for a lovely evening.

06/04/2025: Posticino simpatico, piccolino ma caratteristico... Cibo buono e casareccio... affetati divini... Ovviamente vino; il chianti!!!!
14/03/2025: Situato all'interno delle mura di questo carinissimo borgo, era un negozio di alumentari gestito dal signor Giovannino, è stato trasformato (con successo, direi) in un locale che offre uno splendido e azzeccato spaccato della cucina locale. Noi eravamo già stati un paio di anni prima e, visto il bel ricordo, abbiam voluto tornare : ne siamo stati appagati ! L' assortimento di salumi e formaggi di ottima qualità, 🧀🍖 i pici e la ribollita pure, 🍝 la fiorentina (l' abbiamo chiesta "contenuta" per non scoppiare, vista la generosità delle porzioni precedenti) molto tenera 🥩 e gustosa, anche se l' avremmo preferita più al sangue (a dire il vero i titolari si erano offerti di ritirarla e sostituirla ma lo avremmo considerato uno spreco). Il vino, della casa, ottimo ; il servizio, di questi veraci tifosi della Viola, molto caloroso e sumpatico. A noi piace così
