I'm giving it 5 stars because it's not possible to give 11. The restaurant is located on a natural terrace overlooking the valley... that alone is a unique experience (it feels like being in a painting). The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff is equally friendly and professional. They also have gluten-free options. If you pass through Montalcino and don't stop to eat at Locanda di Demetra, you'll miss out on a unique and unforgettable experience.

Beautiful place with a charming atmosphere. The food is truly delicious, and I think everything is locally sourced. Excellent staff and service! I highly recommend it because it's truly worth it!

What can we say - wow! We did a cooking class here yesterday and we absolutely loved it! It was so much fun, just the perfect level for everybody, very entertaining and we learned a lot about traditional Italian food and how to make traditional pasta. We would totally recommend anyone staying close to Montalcino to come and check out this experience or at least taste some of the delicious food here with a beautiful view. Thank you to everyone who was so nice and welcoming!

Great food. Friendly staff. Fabulous view. Arrived without a reservation and the waiter was very accommodating and sat us without any issues. Great food and different menu from the rest of our stay here in Tuscany (a welcomed change!). A must do for a casual delicious and friendly meal.

Vinimos aquí en 2019 para hacer la experiencia de la escuela de cocina y la pasamos de maravilla, el punto culminante de nuestra semana en Italia. Esta fue nuestra primera vez de vuelta - esta vez solo para el almuerzo - y seis años después la experiencia fue igual de buena. El entorno es idílico, con vistas a Montalcino por debajo y en los viñedos distantes. Las mesas ahora están todas afuera, debajo de un dosel (lo que era importante porque el día soleado se convirtió en un aguacero más tarde). La comida era excelente y en porciones que significa que se puede obtener un aperitivo, plato de pasta y un postre sin sentirse demasiado lleno (nos saltamos el “principal” sin embargo). El flan de zanahoria y los entrantes de bruschetta eran magníficos. Para el plato de pasta elegimos el tagliatelle con un ragout de jabalí y los raviolis de parmigiano con ragout de conejo, ambos excelentes. De postre tuvimos un pastel de queso de caramelo y avellana y una panna cotta, ambos muy buenos y muy bien servidos con flores comestibles. El servicio era bueno, atento y amable. El precio era muy razonable para la calidad de la comida servida y la ubicación de ensueño. Fabuloso todo el día.

Esse restaurante tem um ambiente muito legal, pois é bem ligado a natureza, tem uma excelente vista, porém fizemos a reserva 2 horas antes de ser atendidos e eles nos colocaram em uma mesa no sol e no meio do dia, sendo que havia mesas desocupadas dentro da área coberta. Aí a comida pode ser a mais gostosa possível que a gente não consegue aproveitar A comida é gostosa e bem trabalhada mas o valores são altos
