In the small village of Rosciolo, this small restaurant offers carefully crafted cuisine for all tastes. Abruzzo and Piedmont meet in the chef's dishes, and the extensive, carefully selected wine list offers a satisfying and relaxing experience. The service is expert and attentive, with thorough, yet concise, explanations of the dishes and wines, and the atmosphere is a welcoming blend of past and present. Ristorante carino, buona la location, abbastana buona l'accoglienza, meno la sistemazione nel tavolo assegnato sebbene al momento fossero possibili alternative. Negativa la presentazione del menù con diverse portate non disponibili e alternative poco chiare. Mancanza di contorni e verdure e atteggiamento un po' altezzoso della proprietaria, cortese ma fredda. Cucina buona ma troppo cara sia per il posto che per la varietà proposta.

TuttI i piatti veramente buoni, cucinati in maniera perfetta e differenti dalla classica cucina abruzzese, i gnocchi poi favolosi. Locale piccolo ma accogliente.

The Locanda dell'Arco in Rosciolo dei Marsi is a true gem for lovers of good food. Excellent dishes, refined products and a welcoming atmosphere make the experience unforgettable. The service is attentive and courteous, and each course is a discovery of authentic flavours. An experience absolutely worth having. Super recommended!

19/07/2025: We discovered Lo Sgabello Ristorante during a trip to Scanno and immediately fell in love! The first thing that strikes you is the kindness and hospitality of the staff: waiters are always smiling, helpful, and ready to passionately recommend the daily specials, making us feel right at home. The menu is a riot of local flavors: delicious dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, that showcase Abruzzo's traditions with a touch of originality. The portions? Truly generous! Forget about minimal dishes: here, you eat with gusto and satisfaction. Another great plus: dogs are welcome on the terrace, where you can dine while enjoying the splendid view of the mountains. An unusual touch that we greatly appreciated. And the icing on the cake: the quality-price ratio is excellent. You leave with a full belly, a light heart, and a healthy wallet. Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic, warm, and mouth-watering place! We'll definitely be back. 🐾🍝❤️

Ristorante Tre Frati

30/08/2025: This historic restaurant in Pescocostanzo is a must-visit for anyone who wants to sample authentic Abruzzo tradition and typical local dishes. The first courses are good and the portions are generous, though the prices are a bit higher than average. The second courses are delicious, especially the grilled fillet steak, which I highly recommend. The desserts are a bit simpler, and the tiramisu is served in smaller portions. The service is fast, but could be more attentive and precise, especially when serving and clearing the tables. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for its traditional cuisine and the quality of the dishes.
21/08/2025: It's impossible to visit the beautiful Pescocostanzo without stopping at Tre Frati. The former convent refectory, transformed into a family-run restaurant over 50 years ago, continues to serve authentic, traditional, and high-quality cuisine, complemented by some highly successful innovations from the new generation of chefs. You'll also find a good wine list, naturally with a focus on the excellent Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
