Super delicious, authentic Tuscan cuisine! We had a great appetizer platter with homemade goodies and then delicious homemade pasta. For dessert there was delicious homemade cake. The two hosts are really warm and sweet! You feel like you're visiting family! Thank you very much!! Linda, Achim and Lotta :-)

Very delicious food, especially the pasta and the sauces😊 We felt very comfortable and welcomed✨ Very kind and attentive service! When they realized that we had arrived there without a car (approximately 25min to walk), they even offered us a ride home and didn’t hesitate to do so!✨

Does Quality make the price or does the price make the Quality? It is with this Marzulliana question that I left this Osteria/Inn or Rifocilleria as it is referred to. What can I say... the staff is very approachable and friendly, it feels like having dinner (in my case) at the home of friends I've just met, the dishes are very good and you can see that there is attention to the raw materials processed with great care The porchetta I tasted with roasted/pan-fried potatoes was really good, as was the paccheri with raw tomato and burrata that I had as a first course. So in terms of the quality of the dishes served we are at very high levels (including the homemade desserts), consequently the cuisine certainly deserves a 5 star rating, but... the cuisine, in a judgment, is not the only yardstick, and here some aspects perhaps should be reviewed. For a dinner for two people we spent 75 euros, water, house wine, two first courses, two second courses, two side dishes, two desserts...nothing to object to the price as I said we ate very well but we are talking about an Inn/Osteria /Refreshment shop not a restaurant. The room is a large open space that recalls an old modernized storage room/cellar (in reality it must have originally been a manger for animals), the tables are bare, without equipment with a sheet of paper as a tablecloth, very normal cutlery, like the glasses for the wine and the water, everything reminds us exactly of the name of the place "Locanda della Fattora", even the dishes were not served on ceramic plates but on normal disposable food paper trays (perfect in a logical of respect for the environment and for an inn/tavern/restaurant). Now, as from a discussion I had with the owner, I understand that the price justifies the quality of the dishes and their workmanship (which I repeat are truly excellent) but for the amount spent I would have also been pleased if there was more attention to how the dishes they are served and where they are served! We have restaurant dishes that justify a restaurant price but the whole context is that of an inn/tavern which for a customer, who doesn't know the place, imagines a cost of around 10/15 euros lower at least (it's not that the dishes are there explained in detail, highlighting the particularity of the raw materials and processing, I read today in a comment from the owner what type of porchetta it was, otherwise I would never have known). So I find myself with the initial question... does Quality determine the price or vice versa? Allow me to give some unsolicited advice... the list of the menu with the relative prices (it was on a blackboard behind a table) display it clearly at the entrance to the room, it would be even better if there was a menu marked on paper (perhaps always the ecological one) so that a customer can immediately get an idea of ​​how much he will spend and what type of dishes he will eat (in our case the menu was exposed to us verbally without even the aforementioned blackboard had been shown to us). I find that quality, and therefore price, must also reside in these details. However, it remains an absolutely recommended place, perhaps for a medium-high price range (if you want a complete dinner from starter to dessert).

Siamo capitati nella Locanda della Fattora per una cena con il nostro bimbo piccolo, grazie alle buone recensioni lette in rete. Avevo chiamato per prenotare e già al telefono Paola, la Fattora, mi aveva comunicato gentilezza, simpatia e un innato senso di ospitalità. Noi mangiamo vegan e nella Maremma del ragú di cinghiale è come un'eresia, invece la Fattora mi ha fatto notare come la cucina toscana sia per tradizione vegetale e come nel suo menu potessi trovare diverse opzioni. Appena arrivati abbiamo trovato una location rilassante con tavoli in giardino, davanti all'orto, prodotti freschi e naturali a km 0, ma soprattutto piatti cucinati con amore e un'accoglienza calda e familiare. Il nostro bimbo ha avuto tutto lo spazio per correre e giocare fra una portata e l'altra e noi non ci siamo sentiti "alieni" perché mangiamo vegetale ma anzi, abbiamo avuto varie alternative fra cui scegliere. Abbiamo optato per degli ottimi crostini (al pomodoro, alle melanzane&menta e alla cipolla...tutti buonissimi!!!) e dei sott'olio autoprodotti, poi paccheri al pomodoro fresco e melanzane e dei pici all'aglione davvero squisiti, tanto che abbiamo fatto il bis. Avremmo potuto mangiare anche patate arrosto e varie scelte di contorni di verdura ma visto il bis del primo, siamo passati direttamente al dessert. I fattori ci hanno sorpreso perché avevano una proposta dolce senza prodotti animali: uno squisito gelato homemade al cioccolato con biscottini vegan fatti da loro...una goduria per il palato. Il nostro bimbo contento e noi anche. Abbiamo mangiato bene, spendendo il giusto. Paola, il suo compagno, il figlio Alessio ed Eva, il cane della Locanda, ci hanno accolto con affetto e trattati come clienti abituali. Siamo stati benissimo e sicuramente torneremo! Lo consiglio a tutti. Paola è molto attenta a qualunque esigenza alimentare, disponibile e preparata e si vede proprio che ama il suo lavoro. Se cercate una cucina casereccia fatta con il cuore, tanta cortesia e un ambiente familiare vi troverete benissimo.
