Locanda del Tron In Massa

Found by chance on a special page on the internet, first time I've been there and, honestly, pleasantly surprised. Place run by a young couple with Alessio the handyman in the dining room and Eleonora in the kitchen. Small and welcoming place even if, on the outside, it leaves some small doubts (an exterior with more visibility is recommended) but those who know it willingly enter. Which I will definitely do as soon as I get back to it. I would have liked to try their appetizers, which was impossible due to my wife's food allergy. Obviously it's not their fault. Well done. I'll reserve the fourth star for when I return.

There were 3 of us for dinner. Simple place, very kind owner. Fast and courteous service. Menu with few but excellent courses. Superlative tordelli with ragu, very good gnocchi with scampi sauce, with generous portions. Fried calamari and prawns with aubergines and courgettes, excellent. We tried the tiramisu, spectacular. Excellent value for money, the digestives they produce were also excellent. Small place but where you feel really good. Highly recommended. Well done guys, congratulations😀

Excellent restaurant, recommended

Small place near the station, very intimate and nice inside. I took three first courses, Paccheri with fish sauce, Tordelli with ragù and sublime orecchiette with cheese and pepper. Excellent fried fish. Desserts: decomposed Sicilian cannoli, Nutella roll, tiramisu made by them, well exceptional

There are at the moment: excellent meat and ravioli, not bad house wine and tiramisu too. I've already told my wife that one evening if we don't feel like making food we'll come here, 500 meters from home. Very good

Very kind and friendly, low price for large portions and spectacular food. The place is a little hidden but it is a real pearl.

I love these places. They don't take themselves seriously and focus everything on simplicity with the aim of making people eat well. Very high quality-price ratio which cannot be taken for granted in this period. 5 stars given heartily.

Ci siamo stati per ben tre volte, durante il nostro soggiorno. Squadra vincente non si cambia! Il locale è accogliente, e Alessio e la compagna, sono due persone fantastiche. Molto premuroso e attento ad ogni richiesta, pronto a consigliare il meglio. Fantastica cucina tradizionale, antipasti di salumi e altre proposte, tordelli, peposo, un ottimo fritto di pesce, ottima tagliata, e una torta di riso alla massese strepitosa! Porzioni abbondanti e prezzo adeguato Davvero consigliato!!!
