I went with some friends to this characteristic place in Massa for New Year's Eve dinner and we were very surprised. Very courteous and approachable owner, available to satisfy every need (even gluten-free). Very good food. Definitely a nice place to spend a dinner with friends.

We had lunch in this small but welcoming place... the food is good and home-made... the lunch menu is fixed at 13 euros with a first course, second side dish and water... you spend less here and eat better than making food at home. ...

Recommended by friends and we finally had the opportunity to try this restaurant... we were welcomed very well and with great professionalism and friendliness. We tried their tortelli with meat sauce and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms... good and plentiful dishes. As a second course, the sliced meat and the baked potatoes... very tender and tasty. Excellent tiramisu. Fast and attentive customer service. Very fair price...we will be back!!

Locale sobrio, d'una sobrieta' d'altri tempi, veramente bello e accogliente, ricorda le "trattorie di una volta" pur essendo anche chiaramente "contemporaneo". La pulizia colpisce. Rarissimamente mi e' capitato di mangiare in locali nei quali il pezzetto di pane caduto a terra si puo' raccogliere per mangiarselo.... Cio' detto, veniamo alle vivande.....premesso che le porzioni siano abbondanti, come dev'essere a mio avviso (sopporto con "fatica" i piatti semivuoti della maggior parte degli stellati...) abbiamo scelto antipasto e secondo. I salumi e i formaggi accompagnati (per chi li desidera) da marmellata e miele erano semplicemente buonissmi e di altissima qualita'. Divorati democraticamente (nel senso che siamo stati onesti con chi andava piano) con una certa velocita'..... per secondo abbiamo scelto ciccia con verdure e fritto di mare. Eccellente la ciccia, eccellenti le verdure, il fritto pure. Uno di noi ha preso un primo, tordelli massesi, li ha definiti ottimi, gli crediamo sulla fiducia . Per dolce io ho preso un cannolo siciliano scomposto . Posso solo dirvi....provatelo. Da leccare il vasetto (originalissimo) nel quale viene servito. Caffe' e amari della casa, io, fresco di viaggi in Liguria, ho scelto un Camatti con ghiaccio. Perfetto. Ho mangiato francamente piu' del solito, per gola, e ho dormito "leggero". Altro da dire ? Fateci una scappata ....

Known casually for a couple of positive reviews on Facebook, researched on search engines and dedicated apps, we booked for a dinner with friends.
A very pleasant experience starting from the kindness and availability of the owner who manages the restaurant together with his wife who takes care of the kitchen! In a not large but welcoming environment, the service and food were really very good: from the cold cuts platter to the first courses (tordelli, paccheri with fish sauce, orecchiette with cheese and pepper); one of us had a really good pork cheek as a second course (we tasted it), finishing with the special french fries.
All seasoned with familiarity and friendliness: it felt like being in the family.
The prices: completely reasonable, will make me return with great satisfaction.

Best Restaurant in Italy we‘ve been to at our travels, 100% recommended. Price/performance 10/10! We’ve loved the Pasta, the seafood, the meat and the Tiramisu! Mmmmmhhh…

Assolutamente da provare.
Prenotazione obbligatoria perché han pochissimi tavoli, però ragazzi..... Merita assolutamente.
Qualità dei prodotti eccellente.
Porzioni super abbondanti...
Tutto preparato al momento e con una passione incredibile.
Una.vera emozione.
Continuate così perché andate forte...
Migliorerei solo la scelta del vino della casa perché l'abbiamo sentito un po' acidulo...
Abbiamo speso circa 60€ in due.

Found by chance on a special page on the internet, first time I've been there and, honestly, pleasantly surprised. Place run by a young couple with Alessio the handyman in the dining room and Eleonora in the kitchen.
Small and welcoming place even if, on the outside, it leaves some small doubts (an exterior with more visibility is recommended) but those who know it willingly enter. Which I will definitely do as soon as I get back to it. I would have liked to try their appetizers, which was impossible due to my wife's food allergy. Obviously it's not their fault. Well done.
I'll reserve the fourth star for when I return.
