Locanda Del Santuario In Valmala

Sunday lunch, having intolerance problems the menu was slightly modified. It's not the first time we've come. It is an old-fashioned tavern, which unfortunately is becoming an increasingly rare commodity. Fixed menu, 2 excellent starters of veal with tuna sauce and giardiniera, 2 first courses risotto with Barolo and gnocchi from Val Varaita, those who were able to eat them found them excellent. 1 second course of deer with polenta, deer, beautiful, soft and good, spectacular polenta. Perfect old-fashioned house Barbera. Loved apple pie with custard. Nice strong coffee... For 3 plus a small child €80 more than honest. We will be back.

Between the months of July 2024 and August I have been to this Inn 6 times already despite the distance from the place where I am staying for a short holiday, in fact I will return tomorrow. I noticed a review reviewing the place with phrases that absolutely do not fit what really happens during the normal day that these people do to work, it does what I have seen with the times I have been there, the food is good but I absolutely don't think they skip tables at serve from what I have seen and not even that the food arrives cold, in fact when they arrive with the tray underneath they have tea towels to avoid I think getting burned. Tomorrow I will go back as I said because I have always found it very good.

Il mangiare ottimo , il risotto al Barolo eccellente come pure la polenta , bravo il cuoco . Sarebbe stato da 5stelle ma il servizio è stato appena sufficiente, forse sarà per il nuovo personale.

Mi sono trovato in questi giorni ad andare una volta a pranzo e successivamente ci sono andato altre due volte in settimana nonostante la distanza personale molto cortese e cibo veramente ottimo, Sono andato per visitare il santuario e qualcosa poi va a pranzo mi diceva di entrare proprio in questa Locanda egli infatti ho fatto bene perché mi son trovato benissimo sia per il cibo e sia per chi serve a tavola mai visto persone così cortesi a servire i clienti.
