A very charming, traditional restaurant with stone walls. The truffle tartare and Norcina-style strangozzi were excellent.
We also had the tozzetti with Vin Santo... they're homemade and an original twist with a hint of anise... delicious!
The young man who served us (perhaps the owner) was very kind and gave us a great recommendation for a bottle of Umbrian red wine.
Definitely recommended!

We came here based on the good reviews we read. We ordered a platter of really good local cured meats. We also ordered two very good cuts of meat. The quality/price ratio is good, the place is small but welcoming.

Good evening, last night we had dinner at this restaurant. We ate a platter of cured meats, stranzozzi cacio e pepe, and sliced veal with baked potatoes. The dishes were delicious and the waiter was very professional and kind. We will definitely be back, highly recommended.

Endroit cosy près de la porte/parking San Giacomo. Grillades et tartare excellents, service aux petits soins, le serveur était très sympathique. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Ne pas hésiter un instant à vous y rendre, nous y sommes allés 2 soirs de suite ! (mi-mai, sans réserver)

Abbiamo pranzato alla Locanda del Podestà e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Il cibo è buono, con piatti ben preparati e gustosi. I prezzi sono nella media, assolutamente adeguati alla qualità offerta. Un punto a favore va alla posizione e al cameriere, gentilissimo e molto disponibile ad accogliere ogni nostra richiesta. Un’esperienza positiva che consiglio a chi si trova ad Assisi.
