Not sure why this place is so highly rated. Pasta seemed like it was from the box and overcooked. The Pasta Alla Norcina was pretty sub-par: the sauce was scarce and not creamy, and the "sausage" really tasted like unseasoned ground beef. Every time someone I know has tried to make Norcina at home, it has turned out much better than this.
On the plus side: beautiful setting, and nice location in the city, and friendly staff. Overall, the appetizers were better than the mains. One of the specials was good, as well as the Limoncello.

We went to this restaurant by chance, nice and clean place, delicious typical Umbrian cuisine, excellent raw materials... very friendly waiters... highly recommended

I had dinner here yesterday with my family and we had a great time. Very nice and familiar place. The man in the dining room is kind and friendly, the guy in the kitchen shows that the passion for what he does runs through his veins. I ate the best polenta of my life, and the tiramisu was excellent. Local products regarding cured meats and cheeses. Excellent. Absolutely recommended.

We had lunch in this little restaurant a stone's throw from the San Francesco basilica.
We were welcomed by a very helpful waiter who alone managed to manage a room full of customers. The dish we chose, strangozzi alla norcina, a real delight for the palate.
If you find yourself in these parts, a stop is a must.

Официанты старой школы, что не может не радовать. Не сказать, что очень быстрое обслуживание, но, в целом, нормально. По еде все вкусно, цены вполне нормальные.

Ottimo ristorante. Piccolo, ma la cura per il cliente è perfetta.
Antipasti di salumi e formaggi buonissimi e abbondanti. Anche i primi da leccarsi i baffi, abbiamo preso le Tagliatelle al tartufo, porzione a persona giusta (secondo me) e per secondo la tagliata al tartufo e verdure.
Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.
Personale gentile e molto accogliente.
Servizi igienici pulitissimi.
Quando torneremo ad Assisi pranzeremo di nuovo, e con piacere, in questo ristorante!
