Very nice place next to the walls of Assisi. A few steps from the main square. Very attentive and kind service and very good food. Prices are normal for the quality and location of the place. I highly recommend the nuns' craft beer and the chicken "alla contadina".

Typical Umbrian cuisine, excellent well-made dishes. Welcoming atmosphere, kind and helpful staff. A stone's throw from the Basilica of San Francesco.

Great dinner at Locanda del Podestà! Favorites were the Strangozzi alla Norcina, lamb, and tagliata. Super friendly waiter! Thank you, we had a great meal!

Siamo stati in una sera dove pioveva quindi il ristorante era tutto per noi! Posto molto accogliente anche se con pochi tavoli,personale gentilissimo e sa fare il syo lavoro. Tagliere du salumi buonissimo, uovo strapazzato al tartufo delicato,zuppa di lenticchie molto buona, dolce sin fundo..I tozzetti con vin santo..stratosferici..ci torniamo a stretto giro..bravi!!

A due passi dalla Basilica di San Francesco, cibo eccezionale, velocità e cordialità del servizio. Prendete gli Strangozzi alla Norcina :) Nota di merito per il ragazzo in sala, di una gentilezza e professionalità unica! Consigliatissimo!

18/06/2025: One of the best burgers and porchetta sandwiches we've ever eaten. Very fresh ingredients and sandwiches prepared with care. At first glance it would seem like an ordinary place but after trying it we realized that it is on another level. Really excellent quality/price ratio
