A good place to eat seafood is essential. They cook quite well, with an excellent slice of pauro, and a good mixed fried fish platter with various types of fish. Perhaps the shrimp and calamari were missing, but the cuttlefish made up for it. The fish appetizer, which was rather sparse, could use a rethink. All in all, a place worth trying. And last but not least, the service was impeccable and fast. The only flaw is the location, which is from the 1980s, but the quality of the food makes up for it. It's been closed for good for several months now.

Pasticceria Bar Pegaso

11/10/2025: The traditional dishes are very good, but the place is a bit dark and could use a refresh. Time seems to have stopped somewhere between the '80s and '90s.
20/05/2025: An old pastry shop in Messina. Known for its excellent homemade cannoli, and much more, it's deliciously freshly made, along with ice cream, granitas, and more. Everything is delicious. You'll find excellent desserts and a very friendly service. The owner is an excellent person and very professional.

13/11/2025: Great authentic southern Italian dishes and cold beer. Homemade tiramisu was delicious.
10/11/2025: I had a good experience at Da Zia Katia. We ordered frittura di pesce, antipasto casereccio, cozze e vongole. Everything was really delicious, however the grilled octopus wasn't grilled totally cold. The waitress was a little busy but very attentive.
