We celebrated a birthday party with 60 guests and had a great time.
Carlo and Tatiana have always been kind and helpful, always answering yes to our every request and even offering us the choice between agreeing on a menu in advance or ordering everything a la carte on the spot.
In the end we opted for the second and despite this the service and management were excellent but the thing we liked most was the cuisine.
We tasted many different dishes and didn't find a single one that wasn't truly delicious.
I hope that these guys retain the passion they transmit for their work for a long time to come. Well done.
The place is nice, warm and welcoming.
We will definitely return to this restaurant also due to its particular location.

Enchanting place, attached to the sanctuary in the middle of the woods. We had a divine lunch, the staff were very nice, I will definitely return and I highly recommend it.

Arriving at the sanctuary of Bocca di Rio we see this restaurant and since it was lunch time we decide to go in: a truly homely, traditional, mountain environment, with a beautiful stone fireplace and everything very well looked after. They welcome us with a smile and with great kindness, they present us with their beautiful seasonal menu and off-menu dishes. The best fried porcini mushrooms I have ever eaten together with an excellent soft and firm polenta with an exceptional ragù. All at a modest cost. Well done. Worth noting this place.

For us it was a warm and familiar place, a quiet environment to catch your breath during a long journey.
Basic but spotless rooms, everyone extremely kind.
The cuisine was above expectations. It is now a point of reference when we pass through those areas.

Beautiful hotel. Located in a somewhat isolated place and not too easy to find for those of us who arrived in the late afternoon with low clouds, rain and mist. Clean and quiet rooms, too bad there was only one socket, far from the bed. The bathroom is a little small but still accessible and clean. Very characteristic restaurant with good local dishes. Not exactly cheap. The managers are very friendly and helpful. You can return to visit the area and it is worth taking a look at the sanctuary that flanks it

Già, di solito non mi lamento del prezzo, però quasi €50 a testa per un “Menù fisso” e €18 per un litro di Sangiovese della casa, mi sembrano troppi, però La Locanda del Pellegrino è sempre piena, pertanto, come dico io, hanno ragione loro.
Comunque ho mangiato bene ed il personale è professionale e gentilissimo.

Il ristorante è in un'oasi isolata, lontano dal casino.
Si mangia in generale bene, i ragazzi che servono sono molto carini e cortesi.
Prezzi forse un poco alti.
