I had lunch at this establishment on a Sunday a few weeks ago. Therefore, I can't comment on the hotel's amenities. As for the food, however, I give it an excellent rating. I had a truly wonderful lunch, sampling their specialties, which fully reflect the region, given the establishment's location between Emilia and Tuscany. The wine selection, while not vast, is also absolutely interesting. The quality/price ratio is almost unbeatable! The location of the inn, as the name itself suggests, is phenomenal if you want to visit the well-known Sanctuary of the Madonna di Bocca di Rio, being just a few meters away, practically opposite it. For this reason, if you plan your visit/pilgrimage on a holiday or weekend and then have lunch at the inn, I highly recommend booking at least 10-15 days in advance, especially in the height of summer, when many people come up from the plains to find safe refuge. In addition to its religious aspects, the location allows for interesting excursions and hikes in the surrounding mountains, which, as already mentioned, form the dividing ridge between Emilia and Tuscany (it's also just a few kilometers from the Futa Pass). In short... I highly recommend it! As soon as I have the chance, I'll definitely return!

The staff is simply wonderful: professional, welcoming, always smiling, and attentive to your every need. They make you feel at home… or better! The food? A true symphony of flavors! Top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared dishes, and a touch of tradition that captivates you from the first bite. From the first to the last course, every bite is a journey of flavor. Was once a Monastery. Plenty of parking. The single room small, the bathroom tight for a 6 foot person. But otherwise OK. Mattress and linens good. Restaurant server es primarily polenta and pasta based dishes, also combined with pork or beef meat. Service is attentive. Somewhat remote next to a well visited sanctuary. Woody region, great for hiking. Supermarkets and restaurants ca 15 min drive away.

We had a wonderful time, both staying there and eating there. We appreciated both the food and the helpfulness of the owners and waiters. The location is truly beautiful, completely surrounded by greenery.

An enchanting place, a wonderful discovery. The dinner was superb, complemented by spectacular appetizers. The rooms are very basic, but the surrounding landscape of the monastery and the walks in the woods make up for it all.
