It was a pleasant discovery! From the kindness of the receptionist, to the food, to the final farewell!

As Belgians on holiday in Italy, this pub was a pleasant surprise we stumbled upon. A nice pint, delicious food (burger and mussels), and friendly service!

A true, sincere beer house. No frills, just substance and lots and lots of atmosphere. Original and carefully prepared proposals from the kitchen: bombette bergamasche (super!), delicious burgers, always special off-menu proposals. Selected and unconventional beers, highly recommended. The host is delightfully kind and competent. To try and try again!

Then you have to pay close attention, you are not entering just any pub. If there was a Michelin guide for pubs, the inn would be 3 stars for quality (but not for the price which is very fair), while remaining an absolutely informal and family-run place. Given that the line-up of beers is different every weekend, the beers are always chosen among the best Italian and European craft beers. The owner is an expert known by practically all the best brewers from Tuscany to Holland, and he personally travels half of Europe to discover the best gems around. Pearls often unobtainable in any other place in Lombardy but I believe even beyond. The kitchen offers dishes such as pork coppa, bombette orobiche, ribs, pizzacce and hamburgers, all with excellent raw materials, often found in person in the small mountain pastures of Bergamo. The desserts are also good, often produced by a local pastry shop, sometimes with beer must. A truly welcoming and exceptional place, especially for those who know what a real beer is. Very nice owner.

What can I say, drinking a beer with Claudio's advice accompanied by a dish of Carla's sublime cuisine is unparalleled. Typical and welcoming place. Always a jovial atmosphere. You will feel at home. Absolutely not to be missed!!!

When a few square meters are enough, if you know how to drink well. Environment and selection of beers, for tasters and non-tasters. Nice little place, characteristic, familiar, where you can, even under the advice of the owner, taste various types of beers in company. Music in the Top club!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Twenty years ago it was our meeting point, and returning to the Locanda del Monaco Felice today was like taking a dive into the past, but with the same warmth and quality as always! Claudio is a guarantee: hospitality, friendliness and professionalism at the top. The food? Exceptional! I tasted a shank with potatoes which to define as perfect is an understatement: very tender, it melted in your mouth. And the beers? Well, simply spectacular, as per tradition. A place that never disappoints, on the contrary, it improves with time. I will definitely be back! 🍻🔥
