Locanda del Marinaio In Amalfi

We stayed 6 nights in Amalfi and on our first night we found this delightful restaurant. We loved the friendly service and the food so much we kept coming back every night. Why bother hunting around when this place is so good. They have plenty of inside tables but we chose to eat outside; yes it may be a little bit of noise from the crowd but we think it adds to the fun and atmosphere. Thank you Antonio, Simona and your team for looking after us so well.

I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend with fairly low expectations; we actually expected it to be a tourist restaurant of a lesser standard, but we were proven wrong! We only ordered a first course each since we weren't particularly hungry, and we were truly rewarded, as the portions were generous and filling. Furthermore, both the risotto and the pasta were truly delicious, flavorful and well-seasoned without being overwhelming, and we happily finished them. The prices were obviously a bit high, but not excessive given the restaurant's location; in fact, perhaps below average. Furthermore, we couldn't fault the service! The waiters weren't pushy (in these locations, they can pressure you to order more courses) and, above all, they were kind and friendly, exchanging a few words with us when we asked where the bathroom was (which, like the rest of the restaurant, was very clean). Even other non-Italian tourists sitting in the same room as us were treated well and cordially. The location is very nice, both for the interior decor and, of course, its strategic location in the heart of Amalfi. Highly recommended!

Very good food! I recommend the carbonara pizza. But above all, I want to highlight the service of the waiters, super friendly and very fast!

The food is amazing, the pizzas are delicious, and the dough is spectacular! And I think it's some of the best service we've ever received in a restaurant; the waiters are super friendly and attentive. They even brought us a little something to put in our bags. We're super happy and will definitely return.

We were in Amalfi for 7 days and this place quickly became our “go to” spot! The quality of the food was exceptional at a very comfortable price. The service was great, and the portions were just right. Can’t beat it!

No te pierdas este restaurante. Hemos probado algunos en Amalfi pero este fue el mejor y lo visitamos un par de veces. Tiene un gran ambiente de un restaurante familiar y la comida era genial.

Quando sei ad Amalfi non perdere l'occasione di passare alla locanda del marinaio. Si mangia molto bene. Ormai per me ê un appuntamento fisso, perché ha un'ottima scelta nel menù e un equilibrio tra qualità e prezzo. Il locale é stato ristrutturato da poco e vale la visita
