The food is quite good, but the place is not large. The ceiling is beautiful with historical paintings.

Abbiamo deciso di festeggiare l'arrivo del nuovo anno ad Amalfi e non poteva mancare di cenare alla Locanda del Marinaio. Per l'occasione un menù speciale del cenone della vigilia a base di pesce il tutto accompagnato da un buon bianco della costa d'Amalfi. Atmosfera molto gioviale e, tra una porta e l'altra, intonati canti della tradizione napoletana con tammorra e tamburelli ispirati dall'ottimo Antonio. Abbiamo gustato l'ottimo menù di pesce, all'inizio abbiamo fotografato i piatti, poi presi dal gusto e dalla bontà ci siamo immersi nell'atmosfera ma abbiamo recuperato con il dolce. Splendida serata, un ringraziamento a tutto lo staff per la cura e l'attenzione dei particolari in un giorno molto speciale.

We ordered a pizza with prosciutto and tomatoes.
Real Italian pizza is made here - the dough is baked with cheese and tomatoes, then prosciutto, herbs are added and everything is poured with olive oil.
The dough is very soft and pleasant, not overdried.
I will definitely order again!!!

Shrimp spaghetti and fish soup is a must try. The fish soup included prawns, clamps , mussels , octopus ! Please do visit if in Amalfi coast

Welcomed in for lunch and so glad we stopped in. They were playing some great Christmas music and was happy to take on a custom order. Great food and wonderful service!

Absolutely great taste, also nice plating, very friendly and still professional staff.
Preparation time - normal!
Various plates to choose from.
Location - great, in the center!
Tables and space around the chairs big enough not to feel tight or small.
Very clean, nice atmosphere - they had european music, but not good for real Italian food. So they changed to Napolitan upon my request. Wonderful!
