Locanda del Delta In Comacchio

August 2025 We were at this restaurant around 10 p.m. We sat outside, a very pleasant atmosphere, a magical setting! :) Excellent service! We ordered two pizzas and a cocktail. We ate pizza often during our stay in Italy. These two were by far the best! :) Our order: Covered (table): €12 Pizza with cooked ham: €8.50 Pizza with artichokes: €10 Aperol Spritz: €6.50 Total: €37 PS: I should also rate the room in this review. We only ate there. Therefore, I gave the room 5 stars as well, so the overall rating isn't lower.

We passed by chance and went in to eat a really good pizza, crispy and thin-crust, just the way I like it. The staff was friendly, I saw wonderful fish dishes passing by and delicious aromas, we all ate with gusto, recommended!

The restaurant in the evening was perfect! Contrary to our plan, we ate there every evening during our stay because we simply knew what we were getting ;-). The cuisine is authentic, not fancy but not "basic" either; regional and simply very tasty! The evening meals aren't cheap, but not overpriced either – we'd say they're good, very reasonable value for money. The service in the restaurant was good, although it was sometimes busy. Our apartment was super new, huge, and spotlessly clean, just a bit sparse. Very nice bathrooms and a good kitchen. However, there were a few initial hiccups: the rooms didn't cool down well right away, and bedside lamps would be recommended in one of the rooms. Not everything in the bathroom was properly installed. But our comments were immediately taken seriously, and the staff made an extraordinary effort to resolve everything. That's how it is when something is very new! There are still a few improvements to be made here and there in the beginning. The service in the hotel was definitely very friendly! Breakfast could have been a bit more varied, but the quality of the food was impeccable (especially the brioche was so delicious). The location is phenomenally beautiful on the canal, a dream in the evening. Just don't forget mosquito spray because of the water ;-).

This was our second time at the Locanda, having also stayed there last summer, again with the whole family (my wife, me, and our three children). This time, instead of the room overlooking the canal, we stayed in a very cozy, brand-new, two-level apartment with an eat-in kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an outdoor courtyard. The apartment was recently renovated and is located in a small house in the historic center adjacent to the hotel. It's very quaint, also on the canal. The food is just as we remembered it: excellent. Breakfast is also rich and varied, both sweet and savory. In short, the kids had no problem eating, whether at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This time, instead of going to see the pink flamingos, we preferred to plan a day in Venice, which is quite close to Comacchio. If we ever return, next time we'd like to cycle around the valleys, which they say is beautiful, especially at sunset, and also visit the extended forest of the Punte Alberete oasis.

We ate fried seafood and vegetables. The restaurant has great charm because it's frequented by Italians and the food and drinks are very good.

Excellent pizzas, light but well-topped with fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly, and the location is charming.

Nice place along a canal, we had a particularly spacious suite. Plus, the food was good.

We came for pizza, and it was very good—it was huge, yet light. The service was impeccable, even though about ten tables arrived at the same time. We finished the dinner with a nice mascarpone, although tiramisu was also served afterwards.

Locale affacciato sul canale, abbiamo pranzato fuori, clima tranquillo e servizio molto cordiale e attento. Abbiamo preso un antipasto, così da assaggiare le anguille, due paccheri allo scoglio e una cotoletta ( bella abbondante ). Caffè e sorbetto per un totale di 100 euro. Cibo buono e ambiente che trasmette tranquillità, complimenti. Consigliato sicuramente

Locale in una posizione comoda da raggiungere, arrivando da Ferrara. Per la sua posizione, l'auto va lasciata nei paraggi. Servizio veloce e cameriere cortesi e disponibili. Primo con (vere) vongole veraci, molto saporito e dal sapore autentico. Peccato, l'antipasto (buono cmq), ma dalle porzioni davvero misere (5 patate arrosto e un tentacolo di polpo) ad un prezzo davvero spropositato (se rapportato, ripeto, alla quantità). Il giudizio rimane comunque positivo. Esperienza da ripetere, evitando magari l'antipasto che ha inciso sul conto finale, senza grande soddisfazione. Prezzi nella media della zona. Da consigliare con le accortezze segnalate.
