Locanda Del Cerriglio In Napoli

A historic inn in the center of Naples, just steps from Piazza Bovio, in the charming and rugged Vicolo del Cerriglio, overlooked by the imposing presence of Caravaggio—who permeates the atmosphere of the entire area, no less than the inn itself—who was a regular patron, along with other illustrious guests, and who in 1604 suffered a legendary ambush here that has gone down in history. The restaurant is one of the finest historic inns in Naples and Italy: a charming atmosphere and excellent Campanian cuisine. For lunch, I thoroughly enjoyed the house-made fried fish, excellent, varied, and plentiful. The prices aren't particularly high considering the value of the place and the impeccable service. One of Italy's most beloved and tasteful places, not to be missed.

Good product quality and value for money

The food is so amazing here that we came twice during our short stay, Everything we had was absolutely delicious. They have great wines too and the service was superb.

If you want to experience authentic Neapolitan cuisine, the ancient kind, crafted with intense flavors and expertly and slowly prepared, you must come here. Enjoy a festive lunch like we did—and I say lunch because, with the hearty, hearty dishes, as traditional Neapolitan cuisine demands, you'll have more time to digest them, since, believe me, you'll want to try everything! The restaurant is traditionally chic, with friendly and welcoming staff. Reservations are recommended.

The restaurant is pleasant and well-kept, and the service is fast and professional. The food is of average quality, below expectations. In particular, the spaghetti with clams was very dry, and the sauce lacked the characteristic "creaminess" that results from good mixing. The price is high for the quality of the food.

J'ai sélectionné ce restaurant pour avoir un avis sur la cuisine généreuse Napolitaine et j'ai fais le bon choix. Ce restaurant à la décoration intimiste et par la diversité des plats saura vous satisfaire. J'ai tout aimé du début à la fin, grandes tables espacées, jolie carte des plats et vins et bonne ambiance. En ce qui me concerne, j'avais envie de viande et de sauce tomate, alors le ragoût à été un très bon choix. Que faut-il en dire? vous en avez pour votre argent

Superbe resto, belle décoration, service correct, plats copieux et bons mais grosse déception pour le baba au rhum qui n'avait pas du tout le goût ni odeur du rhum.
