Nice restaurant. Informal atmosphere. Original dishes. Not just the (sometimes boring) standard Tuscan fare. Florentine people occasionally stop by for a bite to eat.

A warm, inviting inn in Pistoia's historic center, with a typically Tuscan flavor. Typical regional dishes (I had the prisoner's soup; a delightful discovery to warm up a cold February evening). Generous portions, good value. Recommended.

You have to eat here at least once in your life. It's not just the delicious, typically Tuscan food, but the atmosphere of a bygone osteria, with a thousand objects reminiscent of the history of the Tuscan countryside. All the dishes are exceptional.

Absolutely 5 stars for us, who dined there with friends a few weeks ago. We were in Pistoia for one night and couldn't have chosen a better restaurant. Fast and professional service, a very, very charming place, and the food was the real star. We ordered several dishes to try, including her majesty the Florentine steak, and they were all delicious. The bill was also fair, which is a plus.

Lunch for two with a prosciutto appetizer, wild boar pici, and bacon paccheri. Top quality! Quick service, friendly and helpful waitresses despite the restaurant being very busy. Fair price. Very positive experience!

Ristorante Rafanelli

21/11/2025: The food at Rafanelli's is always good, and the drinks are even better, if you can stop the sommelier from bouncing from table to table with little substance. It's always crowded, which on the one hand is a sign of excellence, but on the other, it can be a bit noisy. Prices are always above average.

09/11/2025: The best restaurant ever. Delicious food. The spaghetti served in flaming foil rivals the delicious pizza of various varieties. The Tuscan beef steak, cooked to order, is absolutely top-notch. A piece of fluffy meat served with arugula and Permigiano. You've never eaten anything better. Add to that a light white wine that deliciously lashes your tongue, and you're in heaven. Dante's Inferno level III guaranteed—or maybe not. The staff is eager to chat and joke, and they truly rise to the occasion. And only spoonfuls of ice cream remain. Be sure to visit this restaurant!
