Historic trattoria in the center of Pistoia. I ate very well, considering it's a trattoria, everything was homemade and of high quality. Even my 7-year-old daughter said the meatballs and pasta were delicious. Highly recommended, reasonable price. The only downside was the small dining room where we ate, which wasn't very well-maintained.

It's the first time I've been to this place, I had the pappardelle with sheep and they were very good, the crostini with livers took me back to my childhood, my mother used to make them that way, the prisoner was a fantastic experience, I've never eaten so good, the fried porcini mushrooms were few unfortunately because they were crispy and fried excellently, even the stewed meatballs were very good

We returned to this inn eight years after our first trip to Tuscany, because the memory was so fond we had to repeat it. The typical Tuscan dishes are excellent, tasty and fresh, with generous portions and impeccable service. The place is charming, unique, and homely. I highly recommend it!

Personale gentilissimo, cibo ottimo! Antipasto misto molto buono. Paccheri su baccalà strepitosi, pici al sugo di cinghiale super! Nel centro storico che è carinissimo. Decisamente consigliato!

17/10/2025: I've been eating here for years, and I've brought practically everyone I know! Fresh, seasonal food and a great selection of wines. Service is always courteous.
14/10/2025: The traditional cuisine was excellent. The ravioli with basil and burrata were soft, fragrant, and tasty. The cacio e pepe pici were enveloping and creamy. The cheeses were fantastic, fresh and flavorful. The service was fairly quick, simple, and clean. The interior ambiance was unique. I recommend it.

Trattoria Sandrino

12/10/2025: 2025 and 2024 We were, of course, back here again and enjoyed the time and the food. The owner and chef has such a great Italian soul. Tutte bene & bravissimo It's worth being a regular there again. Greetings from Tedesco Frantoio and see you soon in 2026, Scusa. Unfortunately, we're not open as often anymore and therefore booked up. Ciao ragazzi We visited DaSandrino frequently in 2018. It was always exceptionally good. The beef with pepper sauce was particularly special. The side dishes were excellent. And the atmosphere and service had a rustic Italian feel. Unfortunately, none of this quality is present this year. The beef is only available for two people. The beef is now served on the bone and is more raw than cooked. Trimming the bone isn't for everyone. With the current staff changes, the service has fallen short, and a great deal of friendliness has been lost. What has retained its village character? The new prices on the menu. They've increased by a good 15%, and so that you don't forget, the old prices have been crossed out or overwritten by hand. Positive... Yes. The chef briefly wandered over to our table, but only because his friends were sitting next door. A shame and a shame. I don't think we can recommend you at the moment. Micha
11/10/2025: Beautiful setting: a step back in time. A typical Tuscan trattoria tucked away in the Pescia region, it's worth visiting at least once (or more than once). Delicious fried mushrooms, excellent value. Worth the trip.
