Even from the outside, you can tell what kind of restaurant it is. The atmosphere is one of tradition and good food. We've been coming here for years.

In our experience, the place was very crowded and hot. The appetizers and main courses were excellent. Some reservations about the first courses. The desserts were new and generous. The atmosphere was a bit cramped; we struggled a bit with the poor ventilation. The prices were reasonable for the food. Overall, a 7.5 out of 10. It's what I expect from a downtown restaurant, no more, no less.

A very unique place, well-maintained despite the apparent chaos of its decor... welcoming and with quality food. Prices are perhaps a little steep, but it's worth it on vacation! Always book because it gets crowded.

A very quaint place with a collection of wind instruments and guitars, among other things, hanging on the walls.
We loved it!
The prisoner's soup, a typical Pistoian dish with offal and vegetables, is amazing.

A place with a really nice atmosphere, close to Pistoia's main attractions. Of the dishes we ordered, the fried cod was surprisingly the best, although the portion is rather small, so it's worth ordering something like the Tuscan soup. We also got a free appetizer of bread, olives, and cold cuts. It's worth stopping by 👍

The place is very special, true Tuscan. Bread and crackers with olives and raw ham are immediately served. They also brought gluten-free crackers without asking for them, so we really appreciated it.
We had a plate of tagliatelle (gluten-free) and a plate of pici with wild boar ragù, meatballs and a zuccotto. Everything was excellent, super tasty and in the right quantities (except for the dessert, we think it was slightly small for the cost).
Very kind staff and highly recommended place, especially for those who are celiac or intolerant.

Pranzo della domenica tra amici, abbiamo scelto questo locale perché molto caratteristico e soprattutto perché, venendo da fuori, volevamo mangiare cucina tipica.
Siamo rimasti assolutamente molto contenti dell'esperienza, personale molto cortese, piatti della tradizione buoni, porzioni piuttosto abbondanti e conto più che onesto.

Personale e titolare molto gentili.
Ottimi pici al ragù di cinghiale; ma non solo. Veramente un ottima chicca della città di Pistoia.
