Very suggestive place, very good food (the cutting board is a bit poor for the price)
I highly recommend.

I went there for the first time a few weeks ago, I had heard good things about it and I can actually say that the food is good, as a welcome they immediately leave you some focaccia and olives and cured meats, as a welcome I have to say the
Right here, one of the two waitresses was a bit sulky and hasty, the place is half empty so I don't see the rush.
A very nice place, the only flaw is the
Salty bill, a bit of a tourist trap.
For a small mixed meat appetizer, two first courses and a second course, a dessert, without wine, with water and without coffee, a nice blow of 84 euros!
Would I go back? No, but I'll leave it 4 stars anyway out of fairness because we ate well

Very nice restaurant. Small, but friendly place and personnel. Excellent local food, typical Tuscany cousine. Just beyond the baptistery, a must if you are in Pistoia.

Mandatory stop.
We came across this inn on the recommendation of friends for lunch and we can only spread the word.
The service was welcoming and punctual and the internal environment was beautiful. We were also greeted with a small entree.
We started directly with first courses (pappardelle with wild boar, pici all'aglione and cacio e pepe) followed by pepepato and ossobuco. We then had a farinata with black cabbage and fried artichokes as a 'side dish'. To conclude we also treated ourselves to a homemade tiramisu.
I highly recommend the pappardelle and pepato, and lots of compliments for the farinata too.

Struck during a walk by how the outside of the inn looked, we decided to come for dinner the next day. Never was a choice so right. Upon entering the restaurant you are immediately overwhelmed by a welcoming, relaxed and old-fashioned atmosphere. It's impossible not to be attracted by the many period objects such as the various musical instruments, the hanging cured meats and the exposed cheese counter. The welcome from the staff is fantastic, smiling and kind; as soon as we sat down we were offered a taste of raw meat, olives and lupins wrapped in a very tasty oil.
From the menu we chose the Carcerato soup (exceptional), a typical Pistoia dish from several centuries ago, tagliolini with truffles (delicious), the roasted turnips (truly delicious, definitely worth trying) and, as a second course, the Peposo from Impruneta (another very tasty and tasty dish).
Last but not least: background music by Pino Daniele.
With water covered, half a liter of house wine and a limoncello we spent a total of 80 euros. We left satisfied and with a smile. It's a shame that we live so far away, otherwise it would have become a point of reference for us!

Very welcoming place with traditional Tuscan cuisine, well-prepared and substantial dishes just as tradition dictates. The whole menu is good, special mention for the first courses. Not a large selection of wines, but all good even their house wine in the typical flask
