I chose to have lunch today for my father's birthday party with my family and some family friends. I find it to be an excellent place with good food and excellent table service. I had a great time. The staff seems very kind and helpful. We have already recommended it to acquaintances and I will gladly return. Have a nice day 😊

Location a little awkward to reach but worth the effort. Some doubts about the awning, sheltered entirely on the perimeter by mosquito nets. We had dinner and it was absolutely comfortable. I don't know if it can be the same with the sun. More than respectable service times and very attentive and prompt staff. The place is certainly clean, but only one toilet is small. Coming to the food, the Russian salad is amazing and the six flavors joke is interesting. A little too bold perhaps due to the declination with raspberry sauce, which in my opinion is jarring. Even the olive pâté was a little offensive in relation to the delicacy of the meat. I then received the green anchovies: really too salty and broken, not the nice fillet you would expect. Despite my unbridled passion for this rustic food, I left them. I concluded with the creamed cod. Serving it after anchovies (especially if so salty) is already disconcerting. Then, the thing I appreciate most about cod is the very particular consistency, completely lost in the dish that was served to me. Against a vague background of cod, I only perceived the pieces of stewed potato. Maximum respect for the quality of the raw materials, which is evident in each course, but I was annoyed by the aspiration for a spectacular presentation which overshadows the real attention to the flavors and combinations, in their interpretation which in my opinion is excessively and fruitlessly audacious. Not popular but very affordable costs, certainly proportionate and justified by quality and attention to the customer.

Sunday lunch at Locanda del Borgo: Once again Luca Gioda conquers us with his cuisine and takes us far back in time... to Sunday family lunches where grandmothers were queens. Veal with tuna sauce with the real ancient sauce made with hard-boiled egg yolks....., idyllic Russian salad where the vegetables marry with the creamy mayonnaise at the right level, tagliolini with rabbit ragù that inebriate the palate, agnolottini del plin al never banal roast sauce, Cantabrian anchovies in green sauce to spread on slices of toasted homemade bread softened with curls of butter.... all washed down with a good Arneis. To finish, a great aroma coffee blend in a large cup with cream ice cream. Price €34.00 per person. A big round of applause 👏👏👏👏

Everything was excellent, the kindness of the staff, the location, the genuine food, fresh products of excellent quality. The bread basket is delicious, entree offered on the house, very welcome Impeccable equipment, intimate and private environment.

Locanda che non si smentisce… sempre tutto molto curato, sia il cibo sia il tavolo. Piatti piemontesi a volte rivisitati con fantasia e cura per il dettaglio… anche visivo. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Consigliatissimo per cena romantica!
