Ideal for Sunday lunch with nice tables or in company. Every time we have been to this place we have always left satisfied, both for quantity and quality. Friendly staff and more than honest bill of about €40 (obviously it could vary depending on the wine chosen) Recommended!!

Splendid inn on the hills of Pecetto di Valena. On nice days you can eat outside with a splendid view of the adjacent hills. The fixed menu is varied and changes every week, with some excellences such as raw meat with a mustard sauce and onions... delicious! The staff is very kind and very helpful. The rustic environment is refined at the same time. You will wake up with a full belly. Great selection of wines. The environment is also suitable for parties and events with many people. ... nella bella stagione la terrazza con vista panoramica. Aperto il primo maggio 2015 dove prima c'era lo storico ristorante Da Alfonso. Parcheggio nella prospiciente piazza Italia. Si suona il campanello per farsi aprire e per uscire c'è un pulsante in alto a sinistra. Nel cortile il piccolo dehors fruibile nella bella stagione. Varcato l'ingresso un breve corridoio e subito la sala principale e più conviviale con 70 coperti, 40 nella seconda, nelle belle giornate anche la terrazza con vista panoramica. Chef Paolo Gay; seguiti dalla gentile Elisa. Musica in sottofondo; il pranzo: Vino: - Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG az. Cantina Casorzo. Pane bianco, focaccia e grissini di produzione artigianale. Entrée: - panino alla curcuma, semi di sesamo, lonza stagionata e miele. ANTIPASTI: - affettati (salame, lonza stagionata, pancetta alla brace). - tomino di latte vaccino, miele e farro. - carne cruda, citronette alla senape, scaglie di grana e cipolle croccanti. - insalata russa. - sformatino di spinaci. PRIMI: - risotto con ragù di salsiccia, zucchine, fonduta di toma e rosmarino. - agnolotti allo stufato. SECONDO: - scamone, salsa fondo di cottura e salsa barbecue e crostino di ceci. DESSERT: - crostata pasta frolla maison, ricotta, Nutella, caramello, meringa. Caffè. Digestivo (bottiglia lasciata sul tavolo): - amaro alle erbe maison (rabarbaro, liquirizia, Erba Luisa). Vini elencati a voce, comunque quelli esposti sono prezzati e si può andare a scegliere. Quando si prenota viene specificato che c'è solo il menù fisso; entrée, 5 antipasti, 2 primi, secondo, dolce, acqua, caffè, amaro e coperto a 35€ vino escluso. Vengono servite piccole porzioni, ci pare una formula corretta per poter arrivare fino in fondo; per le buone forchette e per tutte le portate, bis ed eventualmente tris. A fine pranzo i nostri complimenti. Dietro il Comune, passando a fianco della scuola primaria, si accede alla Rocca con l'orto botanico e il parco astronomico che meritano una visita.

Sono tornato in questo locale caratteristico e panoramico e mi sono nuovamente trovato molto bene. Menu fisso della tradizione piemontese (carne cruda, insalata russa, tomino, agnolotti, riso al vi o rosso ecc.). Ambiente accogliente e personale molto gentile e professionale. Di fronte, ampio parcheggio pubblico.
