Very nice place, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a wide selection of meats, cooked to perfection, and an excellent wine list. We were pampered from start to finish. I can't recommend it enough, especially for meat lovers.

The food and atmosphere were top-notch!!! But we ordered 1 kg of meat, which was then presented to us raw and cut up, and confirmed as 1 kg. When we paid, it suddenly turned out to be 1.4 kg, which was €50 more than we ordered. = rip-off

We've been wanting to come here for a long time, and we finally made it :) Wonderful atmosphere, compliments on the romantic and refined design (despite being in the basement). All the dishes were very tasty and delicate. We had peppers with meat, gnocchi, pork, and the mille-feuille dessert. The largest dish was the dessert. :) The restaurant is more of a tasting menu than a dining experience. :) The service is good.

Excellent dishes. Ideal for grilled meat lovers, with a good variety of choices. Decent wine cellar. Excellent desserts...the cherry risotto is sublime. Carefully prepared, high-quality dishes. The place is a bit too dark. It's not cheap, but the quality is worth it. Next to the courthouse parking lot, parking is easy, and it's just a stone's throw from the center of the walled city.

Locale ben arredato, un po' troppa confusione e poco intimo, ma è solo un mio parere. Fonduta al tartufo buona, per carne ci hanno consigliato SASHI CHOKO da 1,500 kg OTTIMA !!!!!!!!!!!! Anche i contorni di verdura e patate ottimi. Personale giovane, educato, presente e preparato. Certo la qualità si paga, ma quando e di cosi livello i soldi sono spesi bene. Consiglio !!!

29/09/2025: A wonderful experience! The staff was extremely kind and professional, making us feel welcomed from the very first moment. The food is simply delicious: every dish is carefully crafted, with balanced flavors and quality ingredients. Special thanks to Chef Francesco, who not only delighted us with his refined cuisine but also took the time to personally greet us—a gesture we greatly appreciated. His dishes are a true delight. I will definitely be back!
20/06/2025: This was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life! The food was superb and the atmosphere was so warm and authentic. 5th generation owned and operated estate. If you are looking for the “Nonna” experience, this is it!! I felt like I was having dinner with relatives while there. Top dishes for us: Onion antipasto, Ravioli, Tempura zucchini, Tiramisu.

La Cava dei Sapori

11/11/2025: Bella Italia! While searching for a pizzeria, we ended up at Cava based on the photos. Upon arrival, we discovered that pizza is only served in the evenings – well, we'll see what happens – at least the menu looks promising. What followed was rather disappointing. The beetroot salad was – well, beetroot. No vinegar reduction, no horseradish, just a bit of pink foam. A similar story with the roast beef – good meat, but no pepper, tartar, or pepper mill in sight. The main courses were good. The only remaining issue is the pricing, which is on par with Swiss prices! However, since the restaurant was quite busy, it seems to be acceptable 😅.
10/11/2025: The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked dishes with fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor with a modern touch. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, ideal for all kinds of circumstances. A special mention goes to Simone, our waiter, who was outstanding! Friendly, attentive, and very professional — he recommended our food and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. One of the best dinners we’ve had in Italy. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Como! 👏🍷🇮🇹
