I went there by mistake, and as they say, you learn from your mistakes... well, I learned that there are still some restaurants worth trying!! I was greeted with great attention, and since I'd asked for a quiet corner, they did everything they could to accommodate me. Then came the meal... a riot of flavors and dishes with a genuine, sincere, and high-quality taste. I trusted Mrs. Laura (I think that's her name) with the wine selection, and she recommended a still Gutturnio. High-quality Piacenza cured meats, fabulous homemade giardiniera (very similar to Morgan's), Rai ravioli in broth that were out of this world, and a roast duck that gave me goosebumps...
My wife doesn't know what she got, because I never looked up from my plate... ( )
I had a truly wonderful time and realized that there are still people who do their job with passion, honesty, and love!!
For what I ate, I spent very little. I will definitely go back with friends and I highly recommend it!!!!

The appetizers were excellent, but the rest was below average. The pumpkin ravioli didn't taste like pumpkin, and the wild boar was dry. The platters, on the other hand, were very good and highly recommended (although I thought they had gnocco fritto). The wines were average, and the service was poor. I spoke to the waiter, but he didn't answer. I asked for dessert, and it arrived only after a prompt. The waiter (always the same one) hastily put it on the table without saying a word. I wasn't expecting a "bon appetit," but at least a "sorry for the delay" or something. In short, a little kindness. The cashier had a similar experience. He'd ring the register and then half-heartedly throw the receipt on the counter.

An excellent restaurant in the hills of the Nure Valley, where you can enjoy Piacenza cuisine. We ordered a traditional platter: shank with potatoes, fried porcini mushrooms, and Piacenza ravioli. Everything was top-quality, beautifully presented, and impeccably served by a very attentive yet discreet waiter. It's a Michelin Bib Gourmand.

Excellent experience. The staff is friendly, helpful, and ready to accommodate all your needs. The inn is located in the Piacenza hills with a stunning view and a charming woodland walk with equipment and challenges to complete. It's a great place to unwind or pass the time after dinner or lunch. The menu is based on Piacenza cuisine. I highly recommend the anolini in brodo, which are delicious. The essence of Piacenza is always present in their dishes, and the atmosphere is spacious and very clean.

This is a typical tavern on top of the hill mostly with meat and local food. The quality is overall good although not vegan friendly. Some vegetarian options are available. Recommend.

Excellent Piacenza cuisine in the hills. Very friendly staff, also suitable for children. The only downside is perhaps the somewhat noisy dining room.

Spacious rooms with splendid views of the hills and the Mure Valley. Piacenza cuisine features excellent traditional dishes, from sublime local cured meats to first courses (panzerotti, tortelli, tagliolini, for example), second courses, and desserts. Excellent Gutturnio and Ortrugo wines pair well with the dishes. The restaurant can also accommodate large groups. It's definitely worth a try.
