Caratteristico ristorante nel centro di Grosseto, sembra di essere all'interno di una cantina scavata nella roccia. Non tantissimi coperti, diverse etichette di vino in esposizione. Il menù è prettamente di cucina locale con un paio di proposte fuori menù. Abbiamo preso un tagliere di salumi, formaggi e sott'olio come antipasti, a seguire un filetto con i porcini. La qualità delle materie prime è alta, servizio ottimo, conto un tantino più alto della media.

The vaulted cellar seems a bit impersonal, the service is obviously not or only reluctantly prepared for early guests. The restaurant is open from 6 p.m. The wild boar was very salty…

Cibo nella media (alcuni prodotti sono squisiti, tipo i fiori si zucca fritti e i funghi fritti).
Servizio okay... a tratti, distratto, confuso o troppo opprimente.
L'agnello era un po' secco.
Prezzi nella media di ristoranti simili. Tipo 6-7 euro i contorni, 20/25 euro i secondi...

Place chosen on the recommendation of local people, located in a central position and with a pleasant setting characterized by stone arches. You are welcomed with kindness and elegance, although simple, remains a plus. The menu card offers a selection of first and second courses typical of the area with the presence of some small variations. The house starter is traditional but with fresh and good products. I wanted to try the Montepulciano cheek and when choosing it I spoke with the innkeeper (perhaps the owner) remembering that I had very high expectations compared to a previous experience in Piedmont. The final result was good but it failed to fully fulfill my desire to relive a top experience. The ingredients and meat offered were of a high standard but something was missing. I thought about it a bit and I also shared it to the side, most likely the glass of wine suggested between the two choices I indicated ended up overpowering the delicacy of the dish. One could object that we are philosophizing but if it puts us in competition we must then accept the opinion even if it is subjective. Speaking of wine and glass, the only flaw that didn't make me give 5 stars to the experience is due to the glass itself: in any place and especially where there are dozens of bottles and labels, even valuable ones, the pouring should be done at table allowing you to see the label even if open and not bringing the glass already filled and without a bottle. Price in Liberia with experience. I will happily return

Restaurant discovered during an evening at the nearby theater. Particular and very nice place, excellent food but a little poor in relation to the price. Very professional and courteous waiters, unfortunately the same thing cannot be said of the manager, given the wait at the checkout, since he preferred to follow a customer for the choice of wines, therefore my disappointed wife decided to wait for me outside and did not I didn't even get a response to my greeting. Luckily, after asking the waiter, the person concerned deigned to go to the cashier, after which he responded to the greeting, without much enthusiasm.
