Great atmosphere a la wine cellar. Huge selection of wines from regional to international. Tartar di manzo with egg and/or truffle - great meat quality. Tiramisu perfect!

The place welcomed us last Saturday evening, the staff was kind and welcoming. The location is truly spectacular and perfect especially for a couple's dinner. The menu is gourmet based on Tuscan cuisine, mainly based on meat. Of the starters, I recommend the mixed platter (rich and tasty) although I opted for a flan of vegetables and pecorino cream. The cut chosen as a second course was excellent as was the dessert. The cuisine is refined and refined, absolutely recommended. The price was absolutely normal: €35 for starter, main course and dessert and coffee but without wine.

I travel a lot for work and it's the first time I've given all 5 stars. Very kind and super professional staff, very characteristic place in the center and high quality food. For the quality of food I ate the price is excellent. Thank you

Cena nel più bel locale di Grosseto, all’interno delle mura cinquecentesche di origine medicea, in una vecchia polveriera. Non venivo da un po’ di tempo, perché lavorando nella ristorazione, dí uscire a cena non ho molta voglia. Ho trovato un locale arredato molto bene, moderno e minimal allo stesso tempo, il menù non scontato presenta anche dei tocchi internazionali, il Four Gras che ho mangiato servito con il pan brioche e la confettura di prugne mi ha impressionato per la precisione con cui era stato fatto il piatto, il filetto di manzo era morbidissimo, cotto come lo avevo chiesto, al sangue ed insieme il proprietario mi ha voluto far assaggiare un purè buonissimo in versione “moderna”; porcini trifolati eccezionali , finalmente funghi veri!!! Mia moglie a mangiato una cicoria ripassata, morbida e delle polpette al sugo veramente buone, gliele ho rubate… E finalmente patate arrosto vere, sembra scontato, ma oggi trovare delle patate vere in cucina è un miracolo, Chef troppo impegnati a cucinare piatti pseudo gourmet, sembra non ci sia più tempo per sbucciare due patate, oramai sono tutte congelate e di qualità pessima, per cui bravi!!! Non capisco una cosa: ma come fa questo ristorante ad essere decimo in classifica di Tripadvisor? Dinamiche strane!!!! Dovrebbe essere primo a mani basse vista la qualità dei ristoranti grossetani. So good that I returned a second time during a 3-day holiday. Spectacular meat and first courses, friendly and always available staff, high bill but perfect value for money. We ate a Florentine steak whose delicious taste we will not soon forget.

We came across it by chance, there were 8 of us looking for a characteristic restaurant where we could eat good meat, they recommended this place to us and I must say that it exceeded expectations, I can speak for everyone by saying that the quality of the service and the food served is excellent. They have a vast choice of wines and if you want to eat an excellent Fiorentina, you are spoiled for choice. Excellent quality/price ratio. I will definitely go back as soon as I have the chance.
