We chose this inn as an intermediate stop on a trip. After booking we realized that it was also home to a starred restaurant, unfortunately closed for shift that evening. Picturesque and silent environment, rooms more than welcoming and spotlessly clean. Excellent à la carte breakfast with local products included. We will definitely see each other again

Era da tempo che volevamo provare la cucina di questo locale. Dopo la consegna della prima stella Michelin non abbiamo esitato nel prenotare. La location è fantastica, sulle colline al confine tra Liguria e Toscana domina l’intera vallata aprendo uno scorcio dal fiume magra fino alla Versilia 🔝. Personale molto cordiale molto preparato e di un livello superiore,sempre pronto a consigliarti e a spiegarti ogni portata proposta. Mise an Place molto curata, tavoli ben distanziati che danno quella riservatezza alla serata. Il locale propone 3 Menù completi 80 100 e 120€ e il menù alla carta, cantina dei vini molto ricca. Noi abbiamo optato per 4 menù da 120€ che lascia mano libera allo chef, siamo rimasti veramente entusiasti perché in ogni portata si è potuto notare il grande lavoro che c’è dietro ogni piatto, oltre che assaporare abbinamenti che lasciano il segno. Il menù oltre che ad un entrè è composto da sette portate che spaziano dalla terra al mare con prodotti ricercati e di stagione, si va dal petto di fagiano con gamberi e lardo alla pappa al pomodoro verde. Il piatto che più mi ha entusiasmato è stato la capasanta con fuagrà da degustare con un bicchiere di brodo di pesce, fantastico. Per finire un pre dessert e un dessert molto fantasiosi, sorpresa finale dello chef ad accompagnare il caffè. Per questo menù abbiamo abbinato 3 bottiglie di cui due francesi ed un Pinot Grigio italiano. La serata è stata fantastica in una atmosfera unica, se dovessi trovare due osservazioni che possano servire da stimolo per questo locale, consiglierei di proporre un percorso degustazione di vini da abbinare con i menu proposti, e fare più attenzione al conto poiché a noi sono stati conteggiati due calici di benvenuto non serviti.

Posto magnifico con una vista spettacolare (anche se era notte ) mangiare sublime servizio impeccabile !!! Complimenti meritata stella continuate così 👌

The principle of life can be based on the birth of a noise, of a smell, of one of our senses which, in some way, happens. Giacomo engages, surprises and stimulates the client like a woman who, in some way, faces her relationship with her being a mother. Cooking is a mother and, excuse me if I'm thinking and repeating it but I think that, in my ignorance, cooking is a stimulus, a Greater Art..... Complex in its sense aimed at the imagination, elsewhere, where blindness will fly in visual feelings, in a journey perhaps forgettable but in its permanence, subtle... Well done, carry on like this.

I have been frequenting this restaurant for some time and feel that the time has come to recommend it as one of the best I have ever visited. I recently went there with an American friend who came to visit me in Tuscany, and he too was impressed by the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. The cuisine is refined and offers a variety of innovative and tasty dishes, made mainly with local ingredients, whose freshness and intensity of taste transform every tasting into a journey to discover unique flavours. The carefully curated wine selection and quality service complete an experience that is definitely worth the trip. If you are passionate about gastronomic culture, La Locanda de Banchieri represents an unmissable opportunity to experience a special moment in an enchanting location.

The location is beautiful, the structure is well presented with garden and swimming pool but the rooms are poorly cared for in terms of finish and cleanliness. Non-existent reception, possible due to events such as wedding banquets which also cause disturbance to the peace for those arriving after traveling to reach the facility. Breakfast to be chosen the day before without a minimum buffet. Access for disabled people in some rooms but breakfast is served on another floor and you have to leave the room floor with wheelchairs to reach the tables. I didn't notice an elevator. Convenient and free but limited parking, if there are events going on it is a problem.

We had a wonderful stay at Locanda de Banchieri. Despite the pouring rain, the whole team was able to bring us sunshine during these holidays. Giacomo has a mastery of his cooking, a passion that is felt on the plate, a gourmet balance that delights the taste buds. The local, quality products used for its cuisine are delicious. The restaurant with its quality and service deserves a Michelin star. The rooms are very comfortable, with a magnificent view of the sea and the hills, a cozy cocoon which invites us to relax and recharge our batteries. A fantastic place to relax. First look at the window too, wow what a panorama! Great breakfast with everything you need and not forgetting great service! The rooms are great, the only minor downside is no German television. Since we have been coming to this wonderful area for a few years, we know how to help each other 👍👍 I have to add one more point: we felt extremely comfortable, even when our Fiete didn't dare climb the stairs there was an immediate solution!! You are such a fantastically warm team that you just felt really comfortable with you♥️, You can be extremely proud of your cuisine and service!
