Tried it somewhat by chance, a great discovery!
Gorgeous place, attentive and courteous service, excellent dishes. Traditional cuisine, but everything is perfectly prepared and reinterpreted in a modern and elegant way with a particular attention to flavor. The dishes are truly delicious!
The only thing that could be improved, in my opinion, is the portions of the first courses: a little more generous and they would be perfect!

We visited this restaurant with my wife and our small child and were truly satisfied. From the appetizer to the first course, to the main course, the quality of the food was excellent and the service was prompt. The staff was very kind and attentive to our family's needs, which we greatly appreciated.
The dish that impressed us most was the fillet steak in Amarone: incredibly tender, cooked rare to perfection, truly unforgettable. An excellent experience in every way, with a more than fair quality-price ratio. We will definitely be back.

Evening in Valpolicella
A very pleasant evening at this restaurant, so characteristic of Valpolicella. I highly recommend the Amarone risotto, which is very good. Among their appetizers, the Crostini with Creamed Cod, their charcuterie board, and their cheese board, are very flavorful and delicious. A glass of Amarone, recommended by the staff, set the scene for a magical evening for my family.

Cozy local place, with a lot of traditional Veronese food.
The food was well tasting, but in general, the presentation was not on point. I ordered a salad for my main course, and to my disappointment, the salad was just plain without balsamic or olive oil - super super boring.
Also to portions were small, thus, I had to order two main courses.
The service was good, but the place where you are seated, is on an unmown lawn - some might find it charming, to me it was just a place where mosquitoes could thrive.
Actually I am a bit disappointed. I feel like they could do better with a few adjustments.

This is a historic family restaurant in a beautiful area of the Valpolicella region. They are serving good local wines and excellent level food. The risotto, pasta and beef tenderloin were very delicious.

Sono tornato in questo ristorante con la famiglia,gli amici (8 adulti) e le mie due nipotine di otto mesi per festeggiare i miei 70 anni. Niente da dire sul servizio e la bontà dei piatti proposti ma, a mio parere , devo registrare una caduta di stile. Ci hanno sistemati nel bel giardino ma purtroppo si è alzato un po di vento e ha iniziato a piovere leggermente. Ho esitato un paio di volte nel chiedere di poter pranzare all'interno (cosa che è stata offerta carinamente anche dal cameriere) e di fatto ci hanno fatto accomodare all'interno. Bene. Il giorno dopo ho letto la ricevuta e ho notato che il costo dei "coperti" era di 48 euro. Insomma mi hanno fatto pagare due volte il coperto!! Che tristezza !!

Abbiamo scoperto la Locanda al Nane cercando su maps un ristorante dove pranzare dopo una degustazione in Valpolicella.
Locale accogliente, staff cordiale.
Piatti tipici della tradizione, preparati con cura.
Tutto buono.
