Returning again this year after a two-year absence, we found the same wonderful atmosphere. The food is always excellent, the service simple and prompt. Eating (very well) under the pergola of this restaurant, after a stroll through the picturesque Malamocco, is always a pleasure. The mosquitoes at the Lido are particularly aggressive. Although the owners do everything they can to keep them away, we recommend bringing mosquito repellent!

Mussels marinara (in white sauce?) with a questionable flavor, probably Spanish, but not in mid-August. Spaghetti with cuttlefish is too greasy, and then, in the photos, it's always the same size every season.

As far back as I can remember, Scarso has always been around, and it's always been a guarantee of good, traditional food, without unnecessary extras. The quality of the food they serve is high. The spaghetti with squid ink is delicious, as is the seafood appetizer. The licorice-flavored sgroppino is interesting. The staff is truly friendly and professional.

Trattoria Isetta di Marco Frare

09/10/2025: We went twice during a business trip, and the trattoria was a pleasant discovery! The raw fish was fresh and delicious, but what really left us satisfied was the turbot with potatoes: exceptional. The owner is very helpful and welcoming, and the service was great. We'll be back!
28/09/2025: Typical trattoria, excellent location, good traditional food, good wine, friendly and helpful staff. We'll be back.
