Here the cuisine is really good, with game dishes, typical local ones, but then it also extends towards Fridays with fried calamari and excellent 🍻 beer. You can stay if you want to DiscoverReDiscover the Territory with walking and cycling routes with Single Trek. Yes, the variant of the Cammino Celeste 🐟 in stages also passes here. The curiosity is the over 1,000 caps hanging at the entrance.

Visiting Mount Joanaz, we had the pleasure of coming across this inn on the street. We started with a first course of really good tagliatelle with truffled porcini mushrooms, and then moved on to a delicious goulash and some amazing bacon with refosco, it melted in your mouth! Very kind and polite staff and a really clean and well-kept environment. If we pass through Torreano again, a guaranteed stop! Compliments!

I start with a mixed appetizer of cured meats and cheese, an excellent overview, San Daniele raw ham speck, bacon and well-assorted and generous salami, all freshly sliced. This is followed by a first course of tagliatelle with tomato sauce made with fresh pachino cherry tomatoes, a fairly generous portion cooked perfectly al dente as I like it, served with a bowl of very freshly grated parmesan, all accompanied by a quarter of fresh Merlot Rosso. Absolutely homemade desserts at will, not to be missed, obviously coffee and digestive. All in a very welcoming family-run location with outdoor parking and the possibility of staying overnight Price paid €27.00 which seems very reasonable to me, double round of bitters offered by the house. A special thanks to the chef Diego, and to Francesca who carries out her work in an impeccable and very professional manner. I highly recommend it because it deserves it

It's a nice village tavern/restaurant. The food was delicious, not too pricey. Only English can be a bit constraining.

Vecchia Osteria alla Pieve

09/01/2025: Typical tavern with an essential environment and friendly staff. The owner divides his time between illustrating the dishes, taking orders and collaborating in the kitchen: commendable. The strong dishes seem to be the meat, cut and ribs. I took an appetizer of mixed cheeses and salami served on a self-service cutting board with knife. Ordered some excellent ravioli with wild herbs and those with red radicchio. The homemade dessert is good. Price not exaggerated. Must try.
30/12/2024: We were so enthusiastic about this restaurant that we decided to stop in Tolmezzo for 2 evenings! Mr Alessandro is an excellent chef! And a very kind person. His love for work emerges. We ordered the fillet which was shown to us whole first on the cutting board. We tasted it and the meat melted in our mouth. We were served excellent "table" wines whose clarity was clearly noticeable. They are certainly not all like this, although the names are recurring! Very happy, we returned to also taste 2 types of ravioli, and again the fillet served this time, raw with a little oil and salt. Everything perfect. Thank you!
