A 5-star experience in every way: from the online booking, to the welcome, to the service, and to the food...not to mention the food! Excellent!

Location: right in the historic center, accessible only from the pedestrian zone. A very distinctive, contemporary, modern industrial atmosphere with carefully chosen details. Excellent pizzas, with soft, easily digestible dough. We also tried the burgers, especially the pistachio one, which was truly delicious. Excellent selection of ingredients and reasonable prices. Pizzas average €8 and up. The "Il pistacchioso" burger is €16. Recommended!

We were warmly welcomed even without a reservation, no complaints whatsoever, would gladly return. We felt very comfortable. Popular with locals as well.

A charming location in the historic center with a contemporary industrial design. Attentive and helpful staff. High-quality ingredients expertly craft excellent pizzas, first courses, and second courses... not to mention the wine cellars and cocktails... Top marks to those who have masterfully made this location an institution of Catanian conviviality.

Ieri sera siamo stati per la prima volta in questo locale. Abbiamo preso una pizza tartufosa, una capricciosa, patatine fritte e il cannolo scomposto. Devo dire tutto assolutamente buonissimo. È stata una piacevole scoperta. E anche lo staff molto cortese. Torneremo sicuramente.

12/01/2026: The cuisine is fantastic, delicious, fresh, and interesting. The rack of lamb is superb; the tagliata is superb; the panna cotta is the best I've ever tried; you'll really enjoy it!
07/01/2026: I have never written a review before, but Francesco deserves an honorable mention. A couple months ago (yes, I'm a bit late) my wife and I were caught in a torrential downpour in Catania. Rain hadn't been predicted, so (being the nice guy I am) gave my jacket to my wife. Our hotel had suggested Uzeta. Although it wasn't the closest place to seek shelter from the rain and have dinner, I bought an umbrella (for 3 euro from a street vendor). To make a long story short (waiting on hold for 1/2 for a taxi only to be told none were available, etc..). We finally made it to Uzeta. Francesco couldn't have been a sweeter, kinder and hospitable host if he had tried. I was soaking wet, and he said there was a hair dryer in the women's bathroom. It was taking too long to dry my shirt, so Francesco gave me a staff shirt. I know, I should be telling you about the food, but I'll get to that. Honestly, how many places would be so welcoming to give you the shirt of his/her back? Francesco, I can't thank you enough! Everything we had ordered was presented beautifully, but more importantly, was delicious. Francesco was even kind enough to bring us a bottle of "reserved" oil that was pure heaven. Also, he gave us a min wine tasting experience that made it clear what "minerale" means in Sicilian wines. The "Arancino" was much more enjoyable than the typical ones found everywhere, and the stuffed anchovies were to die for. We had been exploring the east coast of Sicilia, and had eaten Tuna with caramelized red onions on numerous occasions (I guess it's a crowd favorite), but Uzeta's version was superior. Francesco also spoke English extremely well. Every restaurant nowadays seems to want to charge a fortune for food/service that doesn't deserve it. Uzeta offers high quality food and service at a price that would cost double in most big cities.

14/01/2026: A delicious dinner. We tried four different dishes; I'd only recommend expanding the dessert menu. The wines were amazing; even though we weren't great connoisseurs, they gave us very good recommendations. The only less delicious dish was the lingotto carbonara. The rest of the first courses were delicious (I'd slightly increase the portions of the tortelli). Total for two people, with one glass of wine each, two first courses, and two second courses: €100 Amazing location!
14/01/2026: I went to this winery for a tasting. What can I say? It's a truly beautiful place, with a very well-stocked shopping area. The wines I tasted were very good. The food was also excellent. Go and taste wine at this winery. It's worth it!
