Locale informale molto piccino. Gestione familiare molto cortese e piacevole. Cucina ottima (ovviamente in stile casereccio). Uniche due pecche: la sala un po’ rumorosa e i prezzi leggermente alti per la situazione. Nel complesso consigliato!

Great place and definitely worth the detour! Might look closed but even though we arrived before opening hours we were welcomed very friendly. Great food and authentic place.

On 8 September due to an imminent queue on the motorway from the holiday return to Marina di Massa, exited at Berceto and followed the explicit road signs to the Ca Mari inn, a pleasant surprise, a road immersed in lush chestnut groves, reached a hamlet, inn near a dedicated parish church to Mary. Informal environment, characteristic of an inn, with a stove that makes you imagine the beautiful warmth in autumn, an external bathroom around the corner of the building, an external veranda but that day it was raining so it wasn't set but immersed in vines with bunches of ripening grapes, we had not booked and we agreed to wait 20 minutes because the atmosphere inspired good things, while waiting we visited the parish church and the nearby surroundings, the menu was not written but recited by the innkeeper, we recommend a hand-written one to find out the prices which in the end they were found to be in the medium-high standard, ordered a platter of cured meats, fried porcini mushrooms, Berceto and Valbona are famous for picking mushrooms, homemade potato gnotti with saffron and tomato cream, tagliatelle with goose ragout and sultanas, all very tasty and very abundant, dishes that you can also ask to take away if you can't finish tasting them, a glass of lively white wine and a glass of still red wine, ordered as dessert a fresh and creamy raspberry sorbet. We will also return in other seasons, a place of peace, surrounded by nature.

Delightful little place a few kilometers from the Berceto motorway exit. Few tables, very kind staff and excellent food. Really good.
