Due to a traffic jam on the highway, we decide to exit at Berceto for lunch and head to the Ca' Mari inn, which none of us had heard of. It's an iconic place on a large, green, tree-filled plateau with a classic little church. As soon as you enter, you feel like you're at grandma's: the stove, the furnishings, the tables, the tablecloths... Everything makes you feel warmly welcomed. The friendly lady explains a simple menu with intriguing dishes. The tagliatelle with mushrooms and ravioli with goose ragù are memorable. The goose breast, beef fillet, and picanha are all delicious. The price is fair.

A little hidden restaurant frequented by locals, with a small menu that feels homemade. Everyone was super helpful and took the time to explain the menu to us. Fully recommended. The ravioli with ricotta and spinach was amazing

An old-fashioned inn, but well-maintained and very welcoming.
We were there during mushroom season, so we took advantage of it.
The fried mushrooms were delicious, but the tagliatelle were AMAZING!!!
We'll definitely be back.

We stopped here at the invitation of friends, on our way to Pontremoli, which is just a stone's throw away.
A discovery. Inside a complex with a small church, the old farmhouse offers corners with an ancient, humble charm. Delicious fried mushrooms and incredible tagliatelle with mushrooms.
Three women, two of whom are perhaps mother and daughter, tell the story of the area with authentic dishes, simple yet rich in flavor. So good I forgot to take photos. 😂
The ambiance is certainly not refined, but it perfectly reflects the simplicity of the dishes and the essential look of the establishment. A lovely discovery, and one that I'll return to sooner rather than later. The dessert was spectacular.

Excellent cold cuts, spectacular potato tortelli with goose ragù, and delicious pumpkin tortelli! The wait staff is extremely friendly, eager to explain their dishes, and the atmosphere is typical of an Apennine inn: warm and welcoming. If you're in the area, stop by!

We ate wonderfully! The cured meats appetizer was excellent. The tagliatelle with mushrooms and the potato-filled ravioli with goose ragù were exquisite, rich in flavor, and made with quality ingredients. For main courses, the wild boar with sweet and sour onions and the goose breast with Cointreau were exceptional.
Honestly, all the dishes won us over: you can taste the passion and care put into every course.
The place is intimate, welcoming, and well-kept. The owner is kind, attentive, and a master in the kitchen! Highly recommended.
