We ate in this beautiful place, the guys first of all compliments they know what they do and work with passion loving their job and it shows. The meat is good, their specialty. The wine from their estate is fantastic. I recommend it

Excellent dinner. Truly exceptional meat as well as my tagliolini which in their simplicity were superlative.
Nice location and beautiful location
For two courses of water and wine I spent €130 which in my opinion is correct for the quality

Un'eccellente ristorante scoperto per caso grazie alla ricerca su tripadvisor. Un posto elegante e raffinato, un'oasi verde inaspettata appena fuori della cittadina. Tavoli da 2 / 4 persone, tovagliati e molto ben apparecchiati. Qui la parte del leone la fa la carne con fiorentine spettacolari e riservate ad appetiti generosi. Anche gli antipasti sono a base di carne, salumi o formaggi, mentre tra i primi vanno ricordati tagliolini con erbette dell'orto o tagliatelle al ragu di manzo. Al posto delle fiorentine spettacolari filetti o tagliate, costine o costate, braciole o carni bianche sono succulente alternative. Servizio professionale e cordiale, carta dei vini giustamente prevalentemente territoriale con ampi spazi verso nebbioli importanti o vini di altre regioni italiane. Porzioni generose e prezzi non banali... ma ne vale decisamente la pena

Siamo stati ieri sera in questa locanda per la prima volta, ed è stato amore a prima vista! Crudo di Langhirano con burrata e gelato al basilico e pomodoro, una goduria per il palato! Fiorentina con filetto squisita, cotta, tagliata e servita in modo impeccabile. Per non parlare del servizio: il ragazzo che ci ha spiegato il menu è un vero appassionato di carni, un oste d'altri tempi. Locale consigliatissimo 🤩

It's the third time I've come to this Inn.
I would like to point out one thing: in all 3 circumstances in which I came, something unpleasant or embarrassing always happened, whether I was in the company of friends or a partner. I was hoping it was only 1 or 2 occasions in which a coincidence could happen but with the 3rd it became a practice especially when comparing myself with other friends and local customers who only confirmed my feelings, namely:
- the owner, or at least I think he is, who usually comes to take orders and explain details, has had a surly attitude every time if things are pointed out that we didn't find in good taste or that we wanted to match the place and the bill.
-When I came with my girlfriend I accidentally dropped a glass and the kindness and helpfulness of the owner was immediately canceled out with the annoyed look and words he made from behind the scenes near the fireplace even though I had apologized to the staff.
-Once again with friends, we asked for the bill and after 3 of us had paid around €300 we noticed from the receipt that an extra bottle of water had been charged...certainly nothing serious, it can happen but to avoid the mix-up you can't offer a limoncino or a bitter as consolation when usually all the places do it automatically without making a mistake on the bill but only because you were a customer that evening...we would have appreciated something more having paid in cash everything on the price list... without discounts.
For better or worse I have always eaten excellent meat, perhaps only 1 in 3 of these was not quite up to the mark for the place and the price. The owner of the restaurant rightly likes to boast about the quality of his meats, however considering that they are meats that he said come nearby from the Monte Baldo area and not from who knows where, perhaps they deserved a lower cost to the public.
But these are more or less important considerations because if you have the financial resources and want to eat good meat the place has it.
