I visited Locanda Batista and absolutely fell in love with it. The restaurant captures the true spirit of Piedmont in every detail: a warm and welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and, of course, authentic and delicious cuisine. I chose the tasting menu paired with a Dolcetto from Diano d’Alba, and it truly felt like living a piece of real Italian life. Each dish was a journey into Piedmontese tradition – perfectly balanced, flavorful, and prepared with such evident care. I felt like a local Italian, celebrating life through food and wine. A true trattoria. Found by chance during a motorcycle tour of the Langhe. An entrance with a bar and wine displays; two dining rooms, one larger and with a fireplace. Elegant, rustic furnishings. The menu is strictly traditional Langhe cuisine. Excellent wine selection. A spacious and delightful outdoor terrace in front of the entrance. Courteous and professional staff. Worth a stop.

On our way back from the "Sentiero del Lupo" (Wolf Trail) in Montelupo Albese, we stopped for lunch. It was a great experience! The tasting menu is definitely worth trying.

ottimo pranzo con antipasto e primo a base di tartufo, servizio gentilissimo e veloce, cibo ben cucinato e di ottima qualità.se volete togliervi la voglia di tartufo o pranzare coi manicaretti tipici piemontesi è il posto giusto

Il personale è stato molto gentile, ci ha accontentati sia per quanto riguarda la sistemazione sia nel cibo. A me che non mangio pesce hanno portato un antipasto alternativo. Il cibo è discreto. Un pò lunghi nel servire perché dalla mezza ci siamo alzati alle 15.45
