We've celebrated several important events at this restaurant, and each time the experience has been excellent. The food quality is consistently top-notch: the food is truly delicious, with carefully crafted dishes and authentic flavors. The owners are renowned for their helpfulness and hospitality, making every guest feel at ease. We highly recommend this place, ideal for both special occasions and a pleasant evening of fine dining.

As a Roman, I can only compliment the chef. An extraordinary cacio e pepe, a fabulous amatriciana, an amazing carbonara. What can I say? I recommend anyone who loves Roman cuisine to stop by Locanda Antica Roma.

I can only give 5 stars for everything! If I had to write a 4 Ristoranti style review, which is so trendy, I'd do this: Location 10: When you walk in, you can't help but be amazed by the pleasant, elegant, and well-kept atmosphere with clear Roman influences. Service 10: The staff is always attentive, kind, and smiling—there's nothing to complain about! Menu 10: Exceptional! All the pasta dishes are expertly made, my favorite is the Amatriciana. If you like it, I recommend it, but you won't eat it anywhere else. Country 10: Excellent value for money, considering the quality of the food, the staff, and the location... If I had to give a more casual review, I'd just say go if you want to try authentic Roman cuisine. There's nothing like it in the province of Varese, but don't expect a trattoria like "La Parolaccia." Roman cuisine is so much more, and when done the way they do it, it's a guarantee. The appetizers and first courses are so good and delicious that we've never even gotten to the second courses. For a family lunch, we had a cake made—INCREDIBLE!!!

We'd been to this restaurant a few years ago and recently returned. It serves Roman cuisine—mostly traditional main courses, especially appetizers and first courses. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and the execution is excellent. I found the pecorino and guanciale to be so flavorful that I couldn't finish the dish due to the saltiness. The carbonara pasta was good, but I couldn't taste the egg much... it was almost more like cacio e pepe given the abundance of pecorino cream. Overall, I enjoyed my meal, but I didn't get the wow factor. The price is in line with the area.

Excellent restaurant with Roman dishes....we had a trio of first courses, I must say they were excellent and reasonably priced, I recommend them.
