Locanda Al Lago In Monte isola

Hi, I'm Lucia, I had lunch with my husband and daughter just last Saturday... a totally new place for us. (Bringing greetings from a friend... a lady I met shortly after, from the chef and to the chef, it ended up a bit confused but that's okay) I give the maximum for the 3 points, that is 5 stars. I don't want to repeat myself like in the other reviews saying and starting by saying... the terrace on the lake, food and dishes purely from the lake etc.... But I want to underline above all the super skill of the chef... because after having tasted his dishes I felt satisfied, full with satisfaction... everything was delicious from the first courses to the dessert and the service of the staff was present, constant and almost familiar!!!. But I have to make a small note... the coffee!!. Here, as far as it's concerned, we need to change the quality of the coffee!! and I don't know if its quality is diminished by the machine itself. Thanks for the good lunch

The terrace on the lake is beautiful, but what we will always remember is the excellent dinner we had here: lake appetizer, tagliatelle with lake flavor (world-class) and fried perch fillets (out of this world)! All accompanied by a still Franciacorta recommended by them and truly excellent! What can I say, we will remember this dinner: I recommend it, it is really worth it!!

The service could be friendlier

We discovered this place by mistake, and we got extremely excited when we found it. The mountains from the other side of the lake created a spectacular view. The service was great. A nice lady who seemed to be part of the family who owns that place took care of us during the dinner. She was very kind and she had good English. We had a plate of assorted cheeses, which was so tasty. For the main courses, we chose stuffed fish and grilled fish, both was very delicious. We had a good time. Highly recommend everyone who goes to Sulzano or Monte Isola to go to this restaurant!

Partiti da Peschiera Maraglio e dopo 8 km quasi alla fine del giro a piedi dell’isola un certo languorino ci ha fatto scegliere questa locanda vista lago. Scelta direi felice perché abbiamo mangiato ottimi piatti a base di pesce di lago su una terrazza con vista sulla sponda bresciana. È vero il personale non ci ha ricevuto con molti salamelecchi ma il sevizio è stato comunque gentile e veloce. Porzioni direi più che soddisfacenti e prezzi nella media.

Cucina sincera del territorio a base di pesce di lago. Il servizio è stato abbastanza rapido e le ragazze in sala sono state molto gentili con noi. Il pasto del nostro bimbo ce lo siamo portati da casa e, nonostante questo, ci era stato preparato un coperto per bimbi che abbiamo utilizzato senza trovarci addebiti nel conto finale.
