Excellent restaurant with a lake fish menu, the chef's creations are very interesting (spaghetti with dried sardines and tagliatelle with lake ragù are worth the visit alone). The location is intriguing, with a terrace overlooking the lake (in the lake). The bill is a bit "salty," but the quality of the catch (and a few bottles of wine...) justify the trip and the lunch.

Fantastic boat docking, highly appreciated appetizer selection of lake food, with 5 stars for the tinta mousse and the trout carpaccio, worthy of the baked whitefish fillet and the mascarpone cream with raspberries and pistachios. Very charismatic Sophie

The food was good, in line with other restaurants in Montisola. The service was particularly unpleasant; at every request, the waitress, perhaps the owner, grimaced, without even a smile, evidently annoyed by the large number of customers. I didn't enjoy the experience.

We docked here during the island's flower festival. It was crowded, but they managed to handle the crowds. The mixed fried fish was good, the only shame was the temperature. The salad and chips were a bit pricey. It's clear that a restaurant on an island has higher running costs. Thanks to the young and attentive woman from Desenzano who served us; she was truly kind. If we return, we'll definitely have another opportunity to try other dishes on the terrace overlooking the water. Thank you.

The inn is very crowded due to the Montisola flower festival. However, they try to accommodate everyone as much as possible.

I went for lunch, the place was lovely, the staff were friendly, the food was good quality, the prices were good for the quality of the food. I recommend it!

28/12/2025: The place isn't big, but it's enough for a get-together. Excellent food, served discreetly. Perfect for enjoying unique dishes, including the spit-roasted meat, cooked truly well and served in a variety of ways. The owner is very friendly and welcoming.
22/12/2025: Uncle Alfred was a great experience. Enjoyable and welcoming. The only downside is the strong smell coming from the kitchen, which has windows that open directly onto the small dining room.
