Locanda al Castello di Sorci In Anghiari

I returned to this restaurant a month ago, blind, after twenty years. The tables in the ground floor restaurant were dirty and a bumblebee was flying around, very serious due to the risk of potentially allergic customers. I pointed this out to the waitress who laughingly took me up to the floor above. The view was wonderful, shame about the dirty windows that didn't allow us to take a picture of the panorama. The menu was expensive, I asked for a side dish of meadow herbs but they brought me boiled spinach. For the first time, my partner left the tagliolini behind. I'm sorry to have to be so direct but given the prices, honesty must be respected. It's a shame because the place is spectacular and it would take very little to bring it to worthy levels.

Tuscan appetizer. Fantastic. First. I'll tell you what to do. The tagliatelle from Castello di Sorci are a super standard. Ravioli. Exceptional. I am lactose intolerant, with sauce dressing. Mythical. Mixed roast and cooked to perfection, but how will they do it? I intend. Given the quantities they cook! Veronica's kindness was exquisite and the staff were truly very professional. Young. Fast. Tireless.

Very characteristic inn in a farmhouse near Anghiari Good food but not very good We ate the house starter but the liver croutons were made with untoasted bread and therefore we appreciated the taste less The ribollita seemed more like a vegetable minestrone with croutons than the true typical Tuscan dish Just enough ravioli The table on which we ate was sticky and I found plates and glasses not very clean Believe us, we won't repeat the experience
