We had a wonderful time, with the many geese providing the backdrop, Toni's attentive and witty service, and a selection of truly excellent dishes. Osteria dell'Oca Giuliva has been around for 36 years, so there's a reason it's still here! I highly recommend it, especially for groups (there were 9 of us). We hope to return soon. Thank you!

I was in Milan for a few days and went to eat at this restaurant that we'd loved so much on our last visit. I ordered the saffron risotto, which I love and consider the signature dish of the city's trattorias and osterias. Unfortunately, this time I wasn't thrilled with it; the risotto wasn't what I remembered, a little sticky, lacking flavor, very buttery, I'd say... definitely good, but not very good. The same goes for the mushroom risotto, which was good, but not very good. Pleasant atmosphere, a bit retro; the tables were too narrow, no way to hang up your coats; very good service, medium-high prices.

Amazing gem for traditional food in Milan. You’ll get what you like for a reasonable price. As a small cons, expect to get out the restaurant smelling like a frying pan, but that’s part of the overall experience. Gorgeous wooden furniture, full of duck statues (that’s the italian “oca”) all around.

Everything was good but in the total bill of over €301.50 there was no discount of €1.50 and no bitter or limoncello offered.

A one-of-a-kind trattoria in the Porta Romana area. It serves regional cuisine (including puntarelle and fava bean puree), well-cooked, and generous portions. Excellent value for the price for Milan and its neighborhood. The service is amusing, old-fashioned, with the kitchen shouting for the dishes to be served. The only drawbacks: the wait is a bit long and the smell of fried food... the hoods are obviously old-fashioned, too. In any case, I'd go back.

Perfect place for lunch with friends! We were their guests on a Saturday; there were about ten of us, and besides our table, there were many others, of all ages. The cuisine is Italian, not Milanese, not Lombardy...a mix of Italian, with regional options, of course. We ordered mixed antipasti, inspired by the waiter's imagination: Apulian knots, cured meats, cheeses, octopus and potato salad, veal with tuna sauce, fresh bread, white focaccia...all delicious and very plentiful. Then we each ordered our own pasta dish: risotto or pasta with porcini mushrooms, spaghetti with seafood, ravioli, Milanese risotto with ossobuco...again, everything was delicious. The only flaw was the porcini mushroom risotto: it hadn't been creamed properly, it was too runny and very buttery, but the flavor of the mushrooms was excellent. All the portions were generous. We didn't skimp on wine and delighted ourselves with two bottles of Ferrari sparkling wine and three of still red. Complimentary liqueurs. The entire meal was enriched by jokes, games, and teasing from the waiter, which made the experience truly enjoyable! The price was absolutely fair given the abundance of dishes and the wine selection.

In the Bocconi area, a corner of old-fashioned Milanese flavors. The risotto and cutlet are excellent, but the quality is high overall. The friendly and attentive service is a plus.

Antico Ristorante Boeucc

No use gorra.

03/02/2026: Their menu changes seasonally every 4-5 months; we went based on photos we saw in Google reviews, but some of those dishes were from the summer menu. Nevertheless, we were satisfied with our choices. The Puntarelle we chose as a starter was refreshing and unique. The artichoke and shrimp risotto was delicious; the shrimp were very fresh, and the harmony with the grated artichoke was amazing. The seafood ravioli was very successful with its filling; although the sauce was delicious, the only drawback was that it arrived a little cold. My wife chose Ossobuco, a Milanese classic; the meat was tender, and the sauce and marrow were fantastic. The fact that the coffee cost €4 and they charged €10 for 'coperto' (table fee) made the price-performance ratio a bit off. While the flavors were excellent, the prices could have been a little more reasonable. The atmosphere was very elegant and thoughtful.
01/02/2026: You always wonder if they're recommending places for tourists, like us, who aren't from Turin. However, Solferino Restaurant is the perfect place for dinner. It's a popular spot for Turin residents, with excellent service and a delicious dinner. The traditional Piedmontese dishes are delicious. Paola, the woman who helped us choose our dishes, was always very kind and helpful. She answered any questions we had about our choices with courtesy and kindness. I recommend everyone try it.
