A short break in Roccella Ionica, then returning in August. We've become accustomed to having breakfast at the "L'Oasi" pastry shop and bar. The staff are welcoming, smiling, and friendly! Not to mention the delicious croissants, including all the pastries! We'll gladly return, and we'll return the warm welcome.

We discovered Pasticceria l'Oasi by chance and returned every morning throughout our stay in Roccella Jonica. The staff was incredibly friendly, the croissants were delicious, as were the small pastries. And how could you not try the brioche with gelato? This one was delicious too! The gelato was top-notch. L'Oasi is absolutely one of the best pastry shops and ice cream parlors in Roccella Ionica. The aragostini are spectacular: they're similar to a small sfogliatella—sorry, Neapolitan friends, for the comparison—but much crispier. I think they're among the best desserts I've eaten in Calabria. I especially recommend the rum cream and ricotta with pistachio flavors, truly delicious. The ice cream is also worth a try. Go for the salted caramel, and especially the Oasi flavor, which is my number one.
