Without a doubt, the best carbonara I've ever had.
And I've had quite a few.
Near Piazza Navona, it's a welcome change to find an authentic spot surrounded by tourist traps. House wine and tiramisu. A true Roman tavern.

A few simple details, but done to perfection. It's a simple, welcoming place, a welcome respite from the chaos of Piazza Navona. Among so many touristy and under-maintained establishments, Zozzone stands out for its authenticity, summed up beautifully in the menu of stuffed pizzas hanging on the wall.

A fantastic place with a distinct Italian atmosphere inside and a cozy bathroom. The food was delicious, with the carbonara being a minor drawback. The staff was very friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised by the gentleman who greeted us in Polish. I recommend this place; it's worth a visit to experience the Italian atmosphere and flavors.

Cozy, warm, lovely.. cant wait for another sitting there and enjoing this place.. like I was 6, kid, sitting with a fork in grandma house and waiting what she bring on the table.
Now, really, astonishment service(one guy look like actor from knights tale) pizza perffeto! and so the all other things like wine and desertd. I was full, still finish their tiramisu homemade masterpiece !

A typical Roman restaurant, truly distinctive and one-of-a-kind. I really hope it stays that way. Excellent food! I've been eating here every chance I get for a few years now.
In the photos: - Spaghetti
- Bread (small slices of very soft white pizza).
- Saltimbocca alla romana. An original recipe with roasted potatoes.

The food is delicious and homemade. I've had the best carbonara of my life here. The value for money is fantastic. The staff is incredibly attentive, very friendly, and will help you choose your food if needed.
There's no cell phone service inside, but the staff will gladly offer you their Wi-Fi if you need it, even without asking.
They speak Italian, English, and Spanish.
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

It was absolutely delicious and the owner was very friendly. I saw a lot of locals coming in to eat while I was eating, so it seems like a local restaurant. I recommend this restaurant to Koreans who want to eat pizza!
