Wedged between two of the main streets for food and cocktails, Lo Zonzone is a bit overlooked by the everyday tourist, which is perfect for those who want an authentic Italian experience. Food (particularly the pizza) is great and the prices are very good for the area. The negroni also happens to be the biggest I’ve had in Italy and for 7€. If you have a few nights in Rome, give this place a go, you won’t regret sitting outside watching the world go by.

A true gem in Rome. The place is very cozy, with a warm atmosphere and excellent service from the staff. It feels like the owners themselves are serving you, which makes it even more special.
We tried the carbonara, cacio e pepe, and a pizza: everything was simply exquisite. As a bonus, most of the diners were Italian, which is always a good sign of authenticity and quality.
The tiramisu was also delicious. I'd been waiting for years to try an authentic carbonara in Rome, and this place exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommended.

The best Roman pizza I've ever eaten (and I'm very picky): very thin, crunchy but never dry! I don't know how they do it... but they do it! Spectacular traditional Roman first courses!

Well done Maria, continue to maintain the home cooking of the past with quality ingredients and remaining honest with the prices, do not change unless to improve.. if I have to make a criticism I would do it on the stuffed white pizza, last night it was not the typical white pizza from the bakeries of Rome (light and crunchy) that I ate at your place, good but heavy, it was surely sold out and they had to improvise something quickly.

Ottima pizza farcita! Tra le più buone mangiate a Roma!
Oltre che buona, anche quantità che cerchi in un locale che si chiama "Zozzone", insomma, la pizza era farcita veramente e con prodotti di qualità!
Atmosfera tipica da trattoria. Quello che cercavamo.
