Welcoming place, courteous staff, and a friendly owner. The seafood appetizer was exceptionally good and fresh, and the pizza was excellent, Roman-style.
I returned on August 15th with friends for a seafood dinner. Everything was delicious, from the mixed appetizer to the tagliolini allo scoglio, the fried fish, the side dishes, and the desserts.
Pietro, one of the owners, is always courteous and helpful, and the table service is also top-notch in terms of courtesy and speed.
If you're in Sabaudia, stop by; it's definitely worth it.
November 2025: Traditional polenta at Lo Zaffiro, exceptional, with broccoli, spare ribs, and sausage...always top-notch.

Excellent experience, comfortable place
They pay attention to detail, and the dishes are very generous. We had appetizers as a centerpiece and first courses with pizza, everything was perfect, with great toppings and cooking.

Sunday lunch was a lovely surprise in a well-kept setting surrounded by greenery. The seafood spaghetti and fish omelette were excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Well done!

Excellent seafood restaurant, friendly and professional staff, they even seated us without a reservation. Unfortunately, the appetizer was not worth the price for the quantity. The quality of the fish was average but very tasty and well-cooked. I recommend trying it for a pleasant evening.

A lovely restaurant in Sabaudia with plenty of space for kids. The staff is friendly, quick, and helpful with any needs. The seafood appetizer was exceptionally good and fresh, served with delicious focaccia.

Last night my daughter took us to Mizzon for dinner (let me start by saying we went there in July last year, which was delicious, and then at the end of August last year, which was really poor, with the excuse that it was late and there were a lot of us).
Yesterday I was with my family, and we gave it another try.
It's true that I'm picky, and so is my family, because I cook very well and always focus on quality and freshness, and my children call me "the fool," but yesterday we were disappointed, despite the kindness of the owners, the efficiency of the staff, and the beauty of the place.
We chose the mixed seafood appetizer, which was nothing special, edible, except for the sautéed mussels, which was not bad. Then for the first course, the paccheri with monkfish. The sauce was too red (in fact, it wasn't fresh tomato) and overpowered the flavor of the fish, and the paccheri didn't please. It's a shame I had high expectations. The spaghetti with clams was lukewarm and bland, and the desserts were quite good.
Disappointed, when I head to the seaside I expect delicious dishes, and when I eat them my eyes start to turn into hearts... I forgot the prices are in line with the prices of the seaside area.

My husband and I were there last night, and I can assure you we ate very well.
I recommend the grilled swordfish with pistachios.

ASSOLUTAMENTE CONSIGLIATISSIMO per qualunque tipo di pasto VERAMENTE CONSIGLIATO. Hanno vinto la sfida a mani basse, visto che io per esempio sono vegetariano e posso dire che c'è una vasta scelta di prodotti.
