Lo Svevo is certainly one of my favorite places: located in a crazy location (the so-called "Arco delle Meraviglie" in the heart of Barivecchia), it is one of the few pubs where the menu ranges from sandwiches to real restaurant dishes; to name a few, potatoes, rice and mussels (magnificent!!), "mbriaco" octopus (cooked in beer!), brasciole with sauce (like my mother's!)...and then platters, "pizzacce", hamburgers with generous dimensions with meats rigorously chosen by the owners...in short...an extraordinary menu for all palates. And then the beers, all artisanal and carefully selected around the world: it's wonderful to listen to them while they present them and advise you which one to choose according to your tastes... a real "experience" as well as a selection and a taste of the highest levels. To top it all, the location: undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in Bari which, despite being in the heart of Barivecchia, enjoys a magical tranquility and quiet while being surrounded by the spectacular "arch of wonders". Every time some foreign friend comes to visit me in Bari, I confidently take them to Vito and Claudia and I always make a good impression! In short, a fantastic place... from all points of view! Highly recommended"!

Delicious lunch. Excellent value for money. Traditional food from Bari. The beer is excellent. The innkeeper is a kind and non-intrusive person. The place is located in the heart of the old city of Bari; a suggestive and emerging experience in the ancient village which made tasting the dishes offered to me even more pleasant.

Che dire ? Birre ottime , menù ristretto al minimo e onestamente salumi e formaggi a parte ( che non ho assaggiato) la pasta è stata Un po' una delusione , soprattutto la famosa tiella di riso patate e cozze era veramente modesta
