What a lack of style and rudeness to make distinctions between customers!! I believe it is one of the first rules of catering and education.

I have been frequenting Lo Squalo for years, every summer that I return to Sicily. I have to say that this year I found it improved. Waiting times have shortened compared to previous years. We ate well, both fish and pizza. The skewered sardines, which I love, are their signature dish. The red mussels are excellent, the pasta with clams and the octopus salad are equally excellent. Nothing to say about the pizza. It remains the best pizza I have eaten in Porto Palo, shrimp, but with shrimp placed on top coming out of the oven. Excellent. It's a simple place, but if I really have to give some advice: coffee should be served in a cup, not in paper cups.

Prezzi esagerati per mangiare sarde! In fondo si tratta di pesce azzurro, niente di straordinario SARDE e cipolle. Da non tornarci.

Enviable location, Porto Palo di Menfi, immense beach with attached services, restaurant a stone's throw from the shoreline, excellently prepared and served food, friendly and helpful staff, it's a shame that roast sardines can only be had in the evening, light the grill for lunch at sun is impossible, prices adequate for food and service. Definitely worth doing again. P.s. you need to book in advance.

Cucina semplice tradizionale siciliana, con materie prime scelte con cura. Abbiamo provato alcuni ristoranti della zona, ma solo qui abbiamo trovato pesce freschissimo e cucinato bene. Anche il prezzo è molto contenuto. Consigliamo vivamente. Marisa e Claudio
