Lo Smeraldo In Capri

One of the best meals I’ve had in Italy! Great food, wonderful view and prompt service!

This is my third time here, i come here everytime Im in Capri. Despite all the comments about tourist traps, i found the service to be very accommodating, the food is terrific and the view is absolutely one of the best in Capri. Well the price is not cheap, however i dont think there will be places that you can get cheaper food for this same kind of food+view+atmosphere. So totally recommend, and will definitely come again!

We visited this establishment both for a day at the beach and for lunch. We ate divinely... excellent tuna tartare, tender roasted octopus with potatoes, sautéed clams, and to finish, pacchero with scorpion fish, which was fabulous. Friendly staff and a very helpful owner! Definitely worth it.

Lo Smeraldo is a family restaurant at a small beach club, located right in Marina Grande, near the pier and the funicular. Since 2011 - the perfect place to relax and dine with a beautiful view of the bay, the restaurant is surrounded by crystal clear sea and offers a combination of fresh seafood lunch and comfortable beach relaxation in one place. The establishment is run by the Aversa family: owner Elisa, chef Tonino, sommelier Simone and manager Alberto. 🍽️ Cuisine and atmosphere The cuisine is based on the principles of simplicity and freshness: the freshest catch is brought by the island's fishermen and immediately put on the table. The menu includes classics of the Campania region: spaghetti with seafood, ravioli caprese, fish with tomatoes and sea aroma, pasta "Smeraldo" with squid and shrimp. Also popular are fried fish, seafood salad, mussels, polpette di melanzane and the traditional Millefoglie with lemon cream and wild berries, all reflecting the island's homemade creativity and gastronomic traditions.

Tuvimos el almuerzo más increíble aquí. El servicio era de primera categoría también. Éramos una fiesta de 11 , de los cuales 7 eran niños (5 - 13 años) y ellos cuidaron de todos sin perder un ritmo. Los servidores eran geniales con los niños. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa, desde mejillones, calamares, pescado de roca y pasta, así como su especial de langosta. Y la vista del agua desde las mesas es simplemente hermosa. Recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que visite Capri.
