Welcoming restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. A place that exudes passion for cooking. We ate very well and were treated truly well. A huge compliment to the chef.

We had a wonderful evening today with very friendly hosts. We actually wanted to sit outside, but there were no tables available. The waiter even tried to move another table outside. We ended up sitting inside and could practically watch the chef at work. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The gnocchi with clams and the tagliatelle with seafood were super, super delicious. The tiramisu at the next table also looked very good, but we were simply full. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

A great discovery, a real coincidence. The clam gnocchi were top-notch, and the octopus on pea puree was truly delicious and delicious. I always look for restaurants with a small menu (no long bibles) and few seats. Highly recommended.

We stumbled upon this little restaurant in the historic center of Capoliveri on Saturday evening, and my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised, from the appetizer to the gnocchi with clams. We highly recommend it!

I had dinner at this restaurant two nights. The food was plentiful and very good. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. The owner was very nice. The only downside was that after an hour of sitting down, one of us was eating dessert. The owner told us we had to leave the table until the second shift (60 minutes after we sat down). That's it. I didn't find it nice. We would have gotten up as soon as we finished dessert anyway.

Nous avons été très bien accueillies, très sympathique, jusqu’au moment où nous avons été servies. Nous avons dû nous dépêcher de finir car des gens attendaient. À partir de là, nous avons vraiment eu l’impression d’être invitées à partir rapidement. Dommage car la nourriture est bonne.

Cenato in una serata di fine giugno con ancora le strade di Capoliveri non affollatissime, ci siamo lasciati consigliare i piatti dai gestori. I tavolini sulla strada sono apparecchiati con garbo e con anche i colori intonati tra loro. Cibo ottimo. I tagliolini allo Sgarbo sono fenomenali, buoni e abbondanti, consigliati per chi come me non ha problemi nell'usare le mani per prendere cozze e gamberi e gustarseli fino in fondo. Buonissimo anche il tiramisù della casa. Prezzi nelle norma ma se volete mangiar bene ne vale veramente la pena. Bravi !

Ristorante In Foresteria Tenuta La Fontanella

20/01/2026: The food was delicious; we had pasta with seafood and tortellini with wild boar ragout. Everything tasted great—but the pasta came with Parmesan cheese from a bag that was just sitting on the plate—and this was in Italy! Absolutely unacceptable! The staff was friendly and helpful.
08/09/2025: Excellent food and excellent wine in a welcoming and relaxing location. The owners and staff were very kind. A lunch with family and friends for our wedding anniversary left me with wonderful memories. I highly recommend it!

Cantina Elbana

13/10/2025: I stopped by to try the wine and bought 5 liters of white.
01/10/2025: We arrived at Cantina Elbana at 6:30 p.m. and were able to get a table right away. The waiter was initially a bit surprised by our early arrival, but he was very friendly and spoke some German, so communication was easy. The ambiance is typically Italian: cozy, with good music and an open kitchen behind the bar – very authentic. The menu isn't extensive, but it's excellently curated. For starters, we had a cold seafood platter – highly recommended and perfectly portioned. For the main course, we had spaghetti uova di riccio di mare (fantastic, slightly spicy, and perfectly seasoned), ragu di pesce spada (excellent), and paccheri cacciuccatti for our son. A particularly positive aspect: the waiter suggested a half portion, which was still generous, but delicious! Since the portions aren't overly large, there was room for dessert. Unfortunately, three of the seven desserts were unavailable, but the cheesecake with jam and the chocolate cake with cream were delightful. The only minor drawback: While we were eating, the kitchen was washing up, and a strong-smelling cleaning agent was used for a short time, which somewhat spoiled the experience. In summary: Fantastic food, authentic ambiance, and friendly service – we left very satisfied and full. Highly recommended!
