Good food, excellent house wine. It has enough seating, but on a Saturday night it was a bit noisy. It's probably ideal for groups, but less so for a romantic dinner.

For a trattoria, it's very welcoming and clean, the service is excellent, and the waiters are smiling. The service was excellent. The portions were generous and of excellent quality. I recommend it to everyone.

Authentic taste of Scanno! I went to Lo Sgabello restaurant and tried the chitarrino alla scannese and scamorza: simply delicious! Authentic flavors and generous portions. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is kind and attentive. A place where you can truly experience the Abruzzo tradition. I'll definitely be back!

We went on a Sunday after visiting Lake Scanno. We stumbled upon it by chance and it turned out to be a great find. The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and the price was fair. It's definitely worth a try.

Welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. We tried an excellent Scanno pecorino cheese, followed by ravioli with zucchini and saffron sauce, and chitarra pasta with sheep's milk ricotta shavings. The main courses looked inviting from nearby tables. Fairly priced.

30/09/2025: Beautiful homely place, with home cooked freshly made food. Lady serving us was very friendly and explained the menu to us in English as we don't talk in Italian. Food was delicious!!! Would definitely come back!

Ristorante La Stozza

26/10/2025: Excellent restaurant in Ovindoli. The polenta with tomato sauce and the pappardelle with wild boar and truffle ragù are delicious. Seating on two levels. I recommend making a reservation because it was packed on the weekend. Friendly staff. Average prices. Their deconstructed tiramisu is fantastic; I recommend trying it!
25/10/2025: We were at this restaurant last Sunday for lunch....what can I say?!?! Exceptional dishes, excellent quality of raw materials and impeccable service....never heard of such a quiet kitchen ♥️
