I've loved these guys for years now; I've watched them grow and get what they deserve! I swear by the hospitality, the food, and the friendliness!! The best dish in the world: tortelli! They're no slouch either with the carbonara... I hope they continue to grow... beautiful and talented! I highly recommend them; I adore you guys! ❤️

Lo Scudo is one of my favorite restaurants in Florence to go to! The food and service are amazing! Everyone there is so nice and it definitely feels like a family atmosphere. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough!

A beautiful place with a wonderful atmosphere, made even more so by the staff. We ate excellent local food with excellent wine pairings. We returned for the second time in four days because we had such a great time. The location is right behind the Duomo. A must-see if you come to Florence. Highly recommended.

One of the waiters greeted us on the street to come in one night but we had prior reservations. The entire trip our 8 year old son wanted to go back to the restaurant. On our last night we are so glad we did go back!!! Food was amazing and Alessandro greeted and remembered our son “Pikachu” (hoodie he was wearing from nights prior) and we had to take a picture with him as our son adored him!!!

16/03/2026: I asked for a T-bone steak and a light dish, but due to what seemed like a communication error, they gave me pasta instead. However, all the food tasted good. It was a shame I couldn't fully enjoy the pasta because I was already full. Still, it was a good experience. Recommended.
15/03/2026: The bistecca (steak) is ordered in 1.2kg portions, so I was worried whether the two of us could finish it, but the meat was so tender and delicious that we finished it in no time. If I have the chance to come to Florence again, I would definitely like to go there.
