BEST RESTAURANT AND WITH GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!!! Everything we ordered could be prepared gluten-free. I WAS ABLE TO ORDER GNOCHI for the first time in a long time, I had not found them until now, it is something that I do not usually find in any restaurant, finding pasta is something a little more common, but everything is also DELICIOUS... DIFFICULT. We also ordered a FLORENTINE BEAR OMG💔💔💔 the meat was so spectacular that you can't believe it, I mean I LOVED THAT MEAT IN SAUCE. I LOVED IT! We also ordered entrecôte with zucchini, more of the same, SPECTACULAR!! ALL THE FOOD WAS SO BUT SO GOOD….. favorite restaurant. From Florence. Last but not least, ATTENTION. MATEO, a young boy and owner of the restaurant, was the one who served us. SO FRIENDLY AND KIND, HE MADE US FEEL SUPER GOOD AND WELL CARED FOR. REALLY, THE FOOD, THE ATTENTION, EVERYTHING WONDERFUL. QUALITY/PRICE 👌🏽 I highly recommend it and I will return without a doubt. Congratulations Mateo, a super restaurant 🫶🏽

This is the BEST PLACE IN FLORENCE! The vibes, atomosphere, energy, service, waiters, food and everything about it are absolutely amazing. 10/10 recommend.

AIR CON was a delightful reprieve. Food was fantastic and the people were on top of the service. Is a bit small so getting wheelchair maybe hard but a man with a wheelie walker was able to come in and up through the back no issues.

The food was excellent overall, especially the ossobuco and pappardelle wild boar ragu sauce pasta. The draft beer was also smooth and good. But the real reason I am writing this review is because of Nina's attention to detail. When ordering, they kindly provided explanations to questions about the food. Seeing that my son was suffering from a headache due to the strong sunlight and heat, they put ice in a plastic bag and wrapped it in a napkin so he could use it as an ice pack. Her grateful consideration and pretty heart, as well as her pretty face, seem to come to mind every time I think of Florence. Thank you Nina ~ :)

Based on reviews of restaurants "around me," I dropped in solo for a late lunch. Lovely outdoor table just near the front door with angled views of the Duomo. The tagliolini with shaved truffles was delicate and delish, and I enjoyed it with a glass of Montepulciano. Service was smoothly attentive. For how close it is to a main tourist area within central Florence, Lo Scudo somehow manages to feel removed and intimate.

Great fun. Decent pasta and wine. We were a walk in and we couldn't have been more pleased. Nice people that made us very welcome.
